Vault by Vans collaborates with Stockholm-based menswear powerhouse, Our Legacy to create a capsule collection that is inspired by the Californian hardcore punk culture. The collection consists of the Half Cab Pro ’92 LX, Sk8-Mid Pro ’91 LX, Old Skool Pro ’92 LX and Authentic Pro LX in orange, black and white iterations. Here, we get an early detailed look at the Old Skool Pro “Black & White”.
A combination of hairy suede and premium nylon makes up the upper, while extra detailing can be seen on the laces, Nylon-Suede Tongue, and a leather patch on the insole for a more comfy fit. To finish off the look properly, the guys at Our Legacy added a slightly higher foxing for that extra clean look. There is zero branding on the outside of the pair, which is the essence of what Our Legacy is, a brand that focuses on materials and cutting instead on designs and prints. The only time you can see any branding is on the inside of the shoe where a label “Curated by OUR LEGACY” can be seen.
The pair is set to launch internationally tomorrow (25/2/17), but looks like it won’t be launched in Malaysia only until sometime in March. We will be updating more once we have more information.
