Well Now It Does
Heritage. Often a reason for celebration in commemorating how brands have shaped their niche in the scene. Now, two Californian natives have come together to celebrate such an achievement, by bundling a chair together with a pair of shoes.
Presenting Vans’ first ever collaboration with Modernica, comprising of Modernica’s signature compressed fibreglass chairs with Vans’ archival detailing pretty much unique to the Golden State’s culture.
Of course, the chair looks like any other chair, but not many know that Modernica was the progenitor of the furniture, having perfected the press with specialised machinery, and have continued to do so for more than 25 years. Now, the limited release sees a myriad of Vans prints printed onto the chair, for a very unique limited run complementing the shoes. Which brings us to the shoes itself.
The Vault Style 36 LX and OG Slip-On LX silhouettes take centre stage with Hawaiian palm leaf motifs, with the tried and tested classic all-over checkerboard patterns.

The Vault by Vans X Modernica collection will be available on Feb 23, at Solewhat (Gardens & One Utama) & Crossover (Johor Bahru & Sunway Pyramid).
