London sneaker heavyweights, FOOTPATROL have worked together with Asics to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Gel-Lyte III silhouette with this “Squad” pair. The pair took inspiration from the Foot Patrol’s gas mask logo. The logo was inspired by Britain’s population struggling with WWII, which is portrayed through the gas mask itself and the nickname “Squad” is coined from the effort of people coming together during tough times to overcome it.
The classic runner is decked out in a military style theme with the entire upper draped in olive colour while there are muddy and earthy hues on various panels. Footpatrol branding is visible on the side heel panel, while at the back heel panel sees the shop’s initials. The inside of the split tongue sees the famous Gas Mask logo with “11 member, 1 squad leader. #teamFP”.
This pair is set to drop exclusively at Sole What (Midvalley branch) this coming weekend (26/9/15) at 10am. The pair is very limited in quantity and will be retailing at RM769 per pair.
