By now, you would have probably familiarised yourself with the Nike Zoom Fly and the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% which is associated with Nike’s Breaking2 project. Iiud Kipchoge, the fastest marathoner ever and members of the media have expressed their opinions on the silhouette and have agreed with the claims of it being the ‘fastest shoe on the planet’. If you thought the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% was good enough, Nike has stepped up their game and added a new 4% option which is lighter and better ventilated dubbed the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% Flyknit. The Nike Zoom Fly gets an upgrade as well with a Flyknit upper and a newly-added React Foam to its sole unit for a better running experience. As imitation is a form of flattery, the Zoom Fly also equips a new carbon fibre plate similar to the Vaporfly 4%, which delivers the runner the feeling of propulsion, assisting runners to finish their run with similar energy as they first started with.
For those of you looking to pull the trigger to run in these, we would highly recommend buying them as these silhouettes have been lab tested and has proven to deliver greater efficiency than the brand’s previous quickest models. The Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% will be available for purchase on the 9th of September with a retail price yet to be announced, while the Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit will be available 13th of September and will have a wider release nationwide at selected Nike stores with a retail price of RM589.
