The Timberland 6-inch boot is an instantly recognisable silhouette, so much that you can spot a pair from miles away with extreme ease from its iconic ‘wheat’ colourway, and coupled with solid build quality, there isn’t much to improve upon unto an already established shoe. That is, unless you’re Masaaki Homma of MASTERMIND.

No stranger in the streetwear sphere, MASTERMIND is known for its monotone designs, primarily white graphics on black, featuring a skull and crossbones motif, attached to a mortgage worthy price tag for good measure. This collaboration then, serves as a little bit of an introduction to the MASTERMIND world through a collab built upon solid foundations of quality.

The boot is the highlight of this capsule, remade to be an inch shorter, with a zip in the medial side for easy entry and exit. MASTERMIND in Old English is embroidered on the colour, and the silhouette is finished off with the crossbones motif embossed on the heel. Details include gold eyelets and co-branded hangtag.

2 colours are available, one in standard ‘wheat’ colourway, or MASTERMIND’s choice of ‘jet black’ with a white collar. The capsule is rounded off with oversized tees, joggers, and sweat shorts, all clad in the same colours and feature heavy co-branding on each piece of apparel, but that’s not really important. What’s important is the price, and the price of the boot retails at a chump change of RM 1499. Stock is in very limited quantities, and is only available at Isetan The Japan Store, starting on the 14th of September. Y’all gonna give this a cop?
