Last year, Jordan Brand unveiled the Air Jordan 5 in bright yellow and black to gift to the friends and family of the University of Michigan basketball team, who were affectionately called the “Fab Five” for their outstanding performance and tactical skills on college level football.

Of course, those being an exclusive pair meant that getting it from your usual rotation would cost the person at least about RM 40,000 (last checked from Flight Club), but if you’ve been pining for a pair, Jordan is about to drop the Air Jordan 5 “Michigan.”

Differences include a mildly different colour palette on the midsole, where on the “Fab 5” features an all-black midsole with yellow splatter, the “Michigan” presents a navy blue take. Jordan logo adorns the tongue, with the tab on the heel embroidered with a quote. “INSPIRE” is sewn into the tongue, while an ice outsole wraps up the silhouette.

Fairly minute differences, with only the keenest eyes being able to spot the differences.

The Air Jordan 5 “Michigan” retails for RM 879 and drops on SNKRS on Saturday, 10th of August.
