2015 marks Highsnobiety’s 10-year anniversary and, to celebrate the occasion, the site has tapped KITH and PUMA for a commemorative release. Inspired by their respective roots in New York City and Berlin, the pack is named “A Tale of Two Cities” where we see KITH founder Ronnie Fieg reworking both the Blaze of Glory and R698.
The Blaze Of Glory is a States inspired pair where the pair is decked out in navy, red and white, coupled with a quilted upper with red accents. The middle section sees a speckled Trinomic midsole and asymmetrical stars-and-stripes debossed patterns beneath the tonal lacing. The R68 is a nod to Highsnob’s roots in Berlin, picked out in a black, quilted nubuck upper with red accents and the colours of the German flag on the inside panel, while the latter references KITH’s New York home in a classic red, white and deep indigo leather combo. Both sit atop an unmistakable PUMA TRINOMIC speckled midsole.
The KITH x HIGHSNOBIETY x PUMA “A Tale of Two Cities” Pack will be released in extremely limited quantities tomorrow 26/9/15 at Crossover Mid Valley at RM650 and it will be on a first come first served basic and strictly limited to one pair per customer.
