KYE Puts A Split Twist On The Onitsuka GSM

The Onitsuka Tiger sets out on its fifth stage of their 70th Anniversary collaboration, with the 5th designer being KYE’s Creative Director Kathleen Hanhee Kyeto. 

Kye’s design ethos delivers an innovative and extraordinary fashion concept, splitting the ‘GSM’ silhouette in a bold black and white leather ensemble, reenacting the stark differences of night and day. Laces are omitted for this model, instead opting for a laceless look; a zip makes itself present on the tongue, while the eyestays remain shut.

The accompanying track top and pants are inspired by a shining star in the night sky in white adorned over a black base. Additional details include the familiar white and red lines as well as a KYE original charm combined with a pull tab with an engraved Onitsuka Tiger logo on the fastener for a sporty finish.

While no prices are announced as of yet, the Onisuka Tiger x KYE collection will be launched on October 21 at Onitsuka Tiger stores in KLCC and Mid Valley.
