Celebrating the iconic design and premium collectibles, Lacoste has collaborated with BAIT for an exclusive release that brings together the aesthetic hallmarks of both brands. By merging BAIT’s propensity of nautical references with Lacoste’s visual influences, including its iconic crocodile logo, the result is a luxurious variant of Lacoste’s Inca silhouette.
The reworked Inca model practically screams suave, with premium oiled leather and heat enhanced embossing on the side panels. A textural mash-up of ‘Buttersoft’ nubuck and soft shell neoprene lining combine, while a knitted stretch rib collar inspired by technical outerwear provides freedom of movement. A classic monochrome palette further emphasises the textural mix, while ensuring the look is clean, premium and enduringly timeless.
With only 500 pairs available globally, this limited edition Inca features bold BAIT branding on the tongue webbing reminiscent of graphical iconography typically printed on large sails and nautical flags. A co-branded label has been stitched to the in-sock, reflecting the monochromatic aesthetic seen throughout the style.
These limited edition pairs will be available in Malaysia exclusively at Sole What Sunway on 26th November 2016, priced at RM 659 per pair with sizes ranging from UK 7 to UK 12.
