If you have been playing basketball since young, you may have heard of Lebron’s first signature shoe, the Nike Air Zoom Generation. Nike is re-releasing the second OG colorway of this iconic shoe and it has been given the nickname, ‘King’s Rook’. The meaning behind this nickname comes with a dual meaning representing Lebron’s first season in the Association with a concept revolving the game of chess. We all know Lebron James as the King, and every King needs a Rook for protection or support which in this case, the Rook is the Zoom Generation that offers responsive cushioning, lightweight support and increased breathability.
