Named after Nike’s founding year, the Nike ‘1972’ QS is an example of street-meets-chic and swag-meets-suave. Here we can see the 1972 lowtop as a logical step for Nike after we saw a huge success with the Cole Haan collaboration and also during this peak of modern menswear, a step that perhaps foreshadows further smart casual looks from Nike Sportswear. Inspired by those of dress shoes, the shoe comes in 2 different colors, one in an elegant brown patent leather, and another slightly more playful look that is also in brown and comes with a neon sole coupled with waxed cotton laces.
