In a somewhat strange decision, the Swoosh it seems has decided to re-release one of its shoes from the On Air competition, namely the Air Max 97 ‘Summer Of Love’ by London based artist, Jasmine Lasode.
To recap, the ‘Summer Of Love’ colourway is inspired by London’s romantic summers, which includes a very personal connection to Lasode, where she had a first date with her now-girlfriend on Primrose Hill. “The colours and details are all personal to our first date. There’s the sunset, the drinks we bought at the corner shop and price tags. Overall, the shoe is about love and good vibes,” laments Lasode.
What you see on the shoe, the mix of bold colour choices and details are a direct interpretation of her vision of love and good vibes, transpiring into an Air Max colourway that really isn’t unlike any other.
The Nike Air Max 97 ‘Summer Of Love’ will be available on the 19th of July, on SNKRS for a price of RM 815.
