Originally inspired by the foldable design of a paper bag, NikeLab have searched into the Nike archives to release the City Knife 3 Flyknit. NikeLab taken inspiration from the the first two City Knife shoes; The Pocket Knife from 1998 was a collapsable ACG shoe for outdoor athletes while the first Nike City Knife from 2002 had foldable creases so it could easily be flattened and packed away. Today, the new NikeLab City Knife 3 Flyknit draws from the versatility of both models and remake a breathable sock-like fit through a one-piece 360-degree Flyknit upper on a translucent rubber sole. It also has a rubber strap to keep the foot locked down, while the shoe is only made from five pieces without any stitching allows it to be easily flattened. Comes in a classic Black, Royal Blue, and hue of pink and yellow pallete colour ways. The shoes will come with a special travel bag.
Keep a look out for the NikeLab City Knife 3 Flyknit set to release 28th September via Nike official website and selected NikeLab location.
