What will happen when a sneaker store that’s been in the game for 20 years collaborates with an international footwear brand? The “Cobbled Pack” is one example. Offspring teamed up with Asics for a limited edition release of the classic Gel-Lyte V in celebration of their 20th anniversary.
The Offspring X Asics Gel-Lyte V “Cobbled Pack” draws inspiration from the cobblestone streets and famous Piazza of Convent Gardens, where the first Offspring store started its business in 1996. Cobblestone streets is mimicked by the beige-coloured suede and nubuck on the upper of the shoe, while the lining pays tribute to the original colour palette from 1996. Lastly, both Asics stamp and Japanese symbol “二十”, meaning 20 can be seen on the sock and lace tip.
The Offspring X Asics Gel-Lyte V will be available exclusively at Sole What Mid Valley on 16th July, Saturday. Priced at RM599.
