In the beginning of 2020, Reebok will now consolidate all of its sub-brands comprising of Reebok, Reebok Classic, and Reebok Delta to use just the iconic Vector logo and the “drop-R” wordmark in a bid to connect the brand’s heritage with a new an exciting direction for the future.
The wordmark and logo will now be integrated fully into every single product including footwear and apparel. “Under a unified banner, all of our products and experiences will tell a single story that is clear and consistent,” said Karen Reuther, VP of Creative Direction. “The Vector was created as a logo version of the iconic Reebok side stripes and cross-check design that dates back more than fifty years. It’s compelling, dynamic and powerfully linked to some of our greatest cultural moments.”
Though implementation is across the board, several niche items such as its CrossFit sub-brand and UFC-branded apparel will still retain the Reebok Delta logo instead.
