What are the chances that Nike isn’t going to stop on bringing more colour ways for the Nike Element React 87, one of their best silhouettes that came out this year? Well your guesses are as good as ours because the Swoosh is releasing new colourways this week and this time, it is a big one.
A collaboration between Nike and Japanese designer Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER has finally come into fruition and set to be release in four different looks with each pair layered in distinct palette of colours, as well as the all important UNDERCOVER branding on the lateral side of the sneaker.
The collection was first unveiled at his clothing label’s Paris Fashion Week of Fall/Winter 2018 earlier this year and since then, it has been slowly on the rise to be one of the most hyped sneaker release. UNDERCOVER can be considered to be an important brand to the industry and knowing their last collaboration with Nike, this collection is poised to be an instant hit.
The Nike Element React 87 made it’s introduction earlier in June and since then, it has amassed widespread acclaim across the sneaker community. With the idea of making a lifestyle silhouette with new and readily available tech, the beloved sneaker was designed to improve comfort on the foot all round. Making it somewhat similar to the Nike Epic React, but scopes in towards lifestyle rather than training.
As many would expect, this collection will not be easy to get your hands on. So get yourself and your deep pocket ready because all 4 colours of the Nike Element React 87 x UNDERCOVER will be releasing on the 13th September with a retail price of $190 USD, or approximately RM700, available at Nike.com tomorrow, Sept 13.
