We had the privilege of hanging out at the Puma Malaysia HQ last week and that is when we met the Alexander McQueen x Puma Trinomic XS500. Although it is an unreleased pair, we though it would be cool to share it with all of you. The pair was supposed to be released sometime during the Autumn / Winter 2014 – 2015 season (which is around now), but instead did not make it into production.
Before unboxing the pair, we noticed a very strong leather scent, only after taking the shoe out that we know why. The whole shoe is made out of leather with a little bit of faux in the mix. Even the insole is made of leather. The whole shoe is assembled by hand in Italy and that is probably why the suggested retail price was going to be around the €250 – €300.
