2019 marks the 50th anniversary since Led Zeppelin debuted their first album, and Vans has joined forces in paying homage to the legendary rock band’s self titled album with a special capsule collection of footwear and apparel.

The skate brand called upon a duo of their most iconic silhouettes in tribute, the Vans Sk8-Hi and The Era. Each shoe pays homage to the band in its unique way, as The Era comes in a wholly printed upper that utilises each band member’s individual symbol over a premium leather with white Led Zeppelin branding across the midsole.

The Vans Skate-Hi features an album cover print of the ‘the burning Hindenburg airship’. Material wise, it features a suede and canvas upper with hints of silver on the upper panel. To finish the look a black leather side stripe is added as well as a black lace, while a red Led Zeppelin branding is printed on the side of the sneaker. Led Zeppelin fans can also unveil each of the band member’s symbols on the woven label on the internal tongue.

Moving into the apparel, the long sleeve tee and the trucker hat showcase the original artwork of the album cover.

The Vans x Led Zeppelin collection will be available at selected Vans retail stores, from the 22nd February .
