The Puma Thunder Spectra pays homage to collabs from the past and silhouettes ahead of their time. The silhouette was inspired by 90’s running silhouettes and Puma’s collaboration with Mcqueen where the Thunder is the product of both with emphasis on bulkiness with an unapologetic look and feel. The Thunder portrays a distinctive athletic shape with a chunky structure, using molded TPU laid over premium mesh and nubuck to reignite a sense of nostalgia. The exaggerated tooling, the blown-up proportions, and the loud color blocking helped the Thunder place its mark on the international runways.
The Thunder Spectra is a countermovement, a new era of sport fashion which carries an unconventional approach to design that breaks focus and commands attention. This pair will be released on 28 April, at Crossover and Sole What with a price tag of RM629.
