The Air Jordan 1 has undergone numerous different transformations, from height, colourways, materials, physical tweaks, the results were endless. This one however, presents us with something that we haven’t exactly seen before, but is a probable next step for the Jordan.
Meet the “Tour Yellow,” a colourway placed under the “Defiant” label that takes heavily from the the DIY culture of the 80s. In reflection of this theme, Jordan Brand has effectively achieved this somewhat by ripping out 3 of the 4 swooshes on the silhouette, leaving only the medial swoosh on the left foot intact, while the others leave behind red open stitching in the shape of the Swoosh. Apart from that, the canvas remains relatively standard in black and white colourways.
