Ever heard of the saying “No man is an island”? Well it’s true, cause according to Melissa Indot, we are all dots. Each of us individually are dots that once connected to one another, create a power synergy that will enhance our lives tremendously. And that is what Melissa’s latest album, “MDot” is all about. The long awaited second studio album reflects her personal journey as she discovers a deeper understanding that no one can exist on their own.
The song in the album features a marriage of sound between electronic pop & live music, infused with a little bit of 80’s classical, indie, rock, 2 step and dance, all of which are inspired by what she has learned from her own circle of connections.
The first single from the album is “You & Me” which is a simple story of love and hope. Inspired by the notion that we are either directly or indirectly connected, be it in the past or somehow eventually, in the future.
