The Underdog Series was conceptualized for one reason and one reason only; to provide deserving but often ignored performers another platform to showcase their material. The goal is to provide these performers with another avenue to gain exposure and get noticed by a larger audience. The series is proud to join many others who have made the effort to keep the scene alive by providing local musicians with multiple platforms for showcasing their talents.
The first installment of the series will feature acts like +2dB, Reach For The Skies, DANGERDISKO, Seven Days of Sunny June and Red Ruby Avengers.
If you are an artist or performer looking for a platform to showcase your talent, than this is the place for you. Any form of good Malaysian music, regardless of genre, is more than welcome to take part in the series by sending an email to theunderdogseries@gmail.com with your profile and demos/video. With that said, the series can’t be kept alive without any physical support from you people so grab your friends and make your way down to Laundry this Thursday night for a night of good, fresh and raw Malaysian music.
