A desk is somewhat a very integral and important piece of furniture for a lot of us. It is a place where we get most of our work done, a place where we “Cari Makan”, a place where we study, a place where you surf the net, and for some of you who are workaholics, a place where you sleep. #WOYD basically stands for “What’s On Your Desk” which is a new feature we thought would be cool to have on our site where we feature desks of certain individuals in our scene and what are the usual items that is necessary for them.
First up we have Yung Shen ( @shenthetaikor ) of The Swagger Salon to share with us what is on his desk. He even took the time to not only list out the items he has on his desk, but to tell us WHY he has it. Check it!
MacBook Pro – Because I can’t bring my iMac with me when I’m in the loo.
Blackbook – Because that’s where the magic happens.
Layout Pad – Because the shit I draw usually looks better on the computer.
Pens, Pencils, Brushes – Because I like to pretend that I can draw.
iPad – Because Instagram don’t work well on the BlackBerry.
BlackBerry – Because I don’t work well without a keypad.
Chequebook – Because finances are as important as fine asses.
Reader’s Digest – Because random knowledge is golden.
Steal Like An Artist – Because I like to prove Mr Brandwashed wrong from time to time.
Mandarin Oranges – Because CNY ain’t over yet.
Print Samples – Because samples are f*cking important.
Bills – Because we all got shit to pay.
Plant – Because they make much better pets than animals.
Cookies – Because I can’t stop eating.
Scented Candle – Because I’m one romantic motherf*cker.
A&W Mug – Because sometimes I dine-in, sometimes I take-away.
