Believe The Hype Of The Air Jordan 1 ‘Bred Toe’ This Weekend

The anticipation of Air Jordan 1 ‘Bred Toe’ is coming to an end tomorrow.

The Bred Toes is inspired by the combination of two Air Jordan 1 colorways, namely Bred and Black Toe which was previously released. We believe another factor that elevated the hype for this colorway is that the Bred Toe’s color-blocking and materials closely resemble the Air Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboard’ which is arguably one of the best Air Jordan 1 ever released due to its build using high-quality leather. The upper of the Bred Toe features tumbled leather in Red and Sail White, Black leather complemented by Red and Black accents on the Nike Air branding on both tongues and Jordan brand’s Wings logo. The rumor going around says that this release will be a mega general release (GR) meaning there will be enough pairs for everyone but in Malaysia, the quantity available may not be as many as claimed to be.

This colorway will be retailing at RM629 on Nike, selected Nike retailers and selected local basketball retailers. All the best, Hypebeast.

Adidas Originals by NEIGHBORHOOD SS18 Collaboration Releases This Weekend

Adidas Originals and Japanese streetwear label NEIGHBORHOOD join forces for another new capsule collection this season. NEIGHBORHOOD founder, Shinsuke Takizawa brings his unparalleled design perspective to a range of street-level sportswear pieces. The range presents pure 3-stripes design in Takizawa’s familiar monochrome aesthetic, in strictly premium constructions. The collection is inspired by the NEIGHBORHOOD label’s trademark of mixing both elements of vintage and street culture, the adidas Originals by NEIGHBORHOOD SS18 range redefines sportswear design towards a more rough and rugged look.

With attention to detail, T-shirts, sweats, track pants, and outerwear are elevated through razor-sharp assemblage, a motif emblem that Japanese samurais uphold and incorporate essential collaborative branding. Classic pieces such as Game Jersey and Commander Sweat introduce subtle adjustments to familiar sportswear essentials, whilst headline pieces like the Riders Track Jacket, a modern interpretation of NEIGHBORHOOD’s iconic ‘Thunderbolt’ jacket and Shorts pay homage to functional motorcycle gear through quilted embroidered details, D-ring hardware, and reference. The NH M-51 Jacket combines classic NEIGHBORHOOD treatments, nostalgic references, and raw technical sportswear design to create a pure expression of the original adidas Originals by NEIGHBORHOOD ethos.

Accompanying the apparel line, four exclusive footwear will be released, reuniting 3-stripes silhouettes from the past and for the future. The collaboration’s take on the Gazelle and I-5923 silhouette stay true to NEIGHBORHOOD’s blacked-out aesthetic, combining Primeknit constructions with premium suede overlays and co-branded details to create understated approaches to straightforward 3-stripes designs. A new take on the NMD_R1 is adorned with a striking geometric pattern, along with a TPU sheet decorated with serrated details, transforming the original NMD model into an entirely new, NEIGHBORHOOD-exclusive silhouette. The collaboration introduces the Chop Shop NBHD, a brand new silhouette created exclusively for the adidas Originals by NEIGHBORHOOD collaboration, combining vintage and adidas Originals shoe-inspired upper design with a BOOST™ midsole to present Shinsuke Takizawa’s aesthetic in an entirely new light.

Looking at the bigger picture, the collaboration is arguably the most comprehensive presentation from adidas Originals by NEIGHBORHOOD yet, encapsulating the individual spirit of each brand through the true spirit of collaboration. The adidas Originals by NEIGHBORHOOD collection will be available exclusively at Crossover Sunway and online this February 24th, Saturday. If you were wondering about the price point for this collection, the retail price range for this collection ranges from RM329 to RM1199.

adidas Unveils The New And Improved UltraBoost And UltraBoost X

Adidas Running is releasing the updated UltraBOOST and UltraBOOST X, designed to break boundaries of running technology to provide the ultimate running experience. A fusion of the past and future along with adidas most advanced technologies, the new silhouette is engineered for unparalleled movement, precision, and fit.

For SS18,  the approach in terms of design informs new features which are inspired by the best in previous UltraBOOST models. The ventilation holes of the original UltraBOOST returns on the upper across key sweat zones of the foot and built with newly developed PrimeKnit to reduce stretch to provide runners with a prime fit and additional support. The silhouette features a high-tech Fit Counter integrated within the heel for free movement of the Achilles tendon while complementing the built-in BOOST midsole, providing the wearer with adaptability, cushioning and energy return.

The UltraBOOST X takes learnings from the UltraBOOST Uncaged and the adizero Sub2 running silhouette where the cage and support features are moved to the inside to give the silhouette a sleeker aesthetic for women. This silhouette is designed with female-specific design features including the Adaptive Arch which permits the PrimeKnit upper to mold to any types of the foot to stay in sync with the wearer’s running style. The integration of a purposely sculpted BOOST midsole complements the design of the Adaptive Arch, allowing elements to work together to provide enhanced support and cushioning. A 3D Sculpted Heel Counter of the UltraBOOST X is designed to allow the Achilles tendon to flow vertically while keeping horizontal movements on lockdown.

The UltraBOOST is available in two colorways for both men and women while the UltraBOOST X is available in grey and comes with a blue heel counter. These silhouettes will be retailing for RM850 from today onwards (online only) and in stores by February 28th.
