In commemoration of Nike’s Air Force 1 35th Anniversary, Nike presents the AF100 collection consisting of five pairs designed by great visionaries. Caught by surprise, Nike Malaysia is releasing the first Air Force 1 from the AF100 collection by Don C. The idea behind Don C’s collaboration with Nike for the AF100 collection stems from combining elements of the Air Force 2 and Air Force 3, using premium materials representing the importance of family. Here’s what Don C has to say about his design representing family:

‘We’re talking about the Air Force 1. It’s the OG, the grandfather, the one that started it all. I always feel you have to be down with your family, because that’s who is going to be there for you. Family doesn’t always mean blood, but you have to keep them close and respect the ones that are looking out for you. I just wanted to pay respect to this iconic silhouette, and make sure kids really appreciate what it means to stick with your family.

The Nike AF100 collection was released exclusively in November recently at Complex Con, and now, the time has come for Malaysian sneakerheads to lay our hands on one of the AF100 collection gems on 1st December 2017. You can visit Nike for more info on this release.
