Blaugrun Stands Up For The Judged With “Don’t Judge” Collection

Blaugrun is back with their latest addition to their Capsule Collection 18′ with the “Don’t Judge” tee. This tee is inspired by the judgmental society that lives amongst us where the bold statement of the tee is used as a medium to express rebellious intentions towards the shallow and judgmental perception of society. We may observe another slogan on the back of the tee, “Fearlessly Be Yourself” where Blaugrun shows support for the LGBT community to tell the community that they have the freedom to be themselves even though surrounded by the negative perception of today’s society.

The lookbook aims to break out of Malaysian’s typical taboos with obscene and judgmental elements being incorporated into every picture, to tempt viewers to judge at every photo with the “Don’t Judge” statement to appear in almost every photo. Every photo expresses a message where viewers may decipher the meaning behind it by actually taking the time to analyze the photo. It emphasizes the values of not judging a book by its cover but to look beneath the surface to understand each individual better by knowing their stories.

The “Don’t Judge” tee comes in black and white, retailing at RM139. The collection is available on Blaugrun’s website and selected stores namely, Blaugrun Isetan Gardens Mall, Fabspy Mid Valley,  Loka in Nu Sentral, Plate Store in Gurney Plaza, Undefine in JB City Square and lastly Hundred% in Paradigm Mall JB.

Play In Style With The Air Jordan 32 Black/Metallic Gold

We can always expect good things from Jordan brand when it comes to lacing basketball players on the court with shoes focusing on aesthetics without forgoing functionality. Jordan brand brings us a pair of Air Jordan 32 Low in Black and Metallic Gold this January with a similar colorway to the Air Jordan 6 ‘CNY’. The AJ32 emphasizes comfort from the heel to toe section with credits to its flexible Flyknit upper. You may expect this pair to be far more lightweight compared to other basketball shoes which use leather or suede, however, rest assured that you will get a snug, form-fitting comfort. The pair features camo across the heel area with gold accents on the Jumpman logo on both sides, Wings branding on the tongues, and throughout the upper. Lastly, as the AJ32 was built for the game of basketball, Jordan brand completes the shoe with a gum outsole to complement the colorway and provide better traction on the court.

This pair will be available on the 13th of January, on Nike, priced at RM629. Check out the previously released AJ32 from the ‘Like Mike’ pack if you prefer a brighter colorway.

Flex Your Special Forces In The Newest Dusty Peach Colorway

We have seen a few Nike SF-AF1 High last year, and Nike did not disappoint with the upcoming SF-AF1 in Dusty Peach colorway.  The silhouette is military-inspired but with this colorway, we definitely expect this to be included in consumer’s lifestyle outfit. Nike features a premium suede upper instead of the usual tumbled leather, with nylon accents on the rear. This upcoming drop is highlighted by high top design complemented with buckle straps on the ankle section as the cherry on top for a military-inspired pair. Pink rubber midsole is used for this colorway to complete the bright two-tone design.

This pair will be releasing on Nike tomorrow, retailing at RM709 in men’s sizes. If pink is not of your preference, check out the Nike SF AF-1 Mushroom and Black/Gum instead.

Onitsuka Tiger Brings ‘Technology To Lifestyle’ With The Mexico 66 SD For SS18

As we step into January 2018, we anticipate the debut of the new Mexico 66 SD, featuring innovations based on the Mexico 66. This new model emphasizes an improved performance and utility based on technology, a reflection of the brand philosophy which will impress their wearers. The Mexico 66 SD is similar to the Mexico 66 in terms of the thin sole, the Onitsuka Tiger stripe, and iconic heel flap. The Mexico 66 SD differentiates itself from the Mexico 66 by its build where it uses a new last for a slimmer, more modern silhouette. The sole has also been improved for better performance by combining multiple materials which aren’t obvious to the naked eye of consumers but is noticeable once put on feet.

The toe and heel sections are made of cushioning material called ‘fuzeGEL’, developed by the ASICS Institute of Sport Science. The Mexico 66 SD is built with improvised cushioning and resilience with precise placement of the gel along the midsole. We may expect better cushioning and fit with the addition of OrthoLite that offers excellent resilience in the insole. The rubber outsole promises better traction, assuring consumers regarding safety whenever they are facing wet surfaces. The upper consist of two materials, high-quality leather, and suede with more texture. The leather upper comes in Vaporous Grey and Yellow with single tones of Cream and Black. The suede upper model is available in Smoke Light Blue and Coral Cloud (launches in April), which are lighter shades for spring and summer to complement trendy spring and summer styles that begin with the feet up.

The Mexico 66 SD will be available from 12 January onwards at Onitsuka Tiger KLCC, Onitsuka Tiger Mid Valley, Onitsuka Tiger Sunway Pyramid and Onitsuka Tiger Gurney Plaza Penang, retailing at RM599.
