UNDFTD x adidas Consortium “10th Anniversary” Superstar

It was in year 2005 that UNDFTD did their first collaboration with adidas and for that release, UNDFTD went with a black themed pair. Now fast forward a decade later, both brands have worked together once again to produce a pair of the opposite end of the spectrum compared to the one in 2005. This pair features a clean white leather upper, that is coupled with reptilian detailing on the Three Stripes branding and heel tab. The signature UNDFTD 5 Strike logo is seen embossed on the heel to finish off the crispy clean look of this pair. 

The release back in 2005 saw both brands producing 600 pairs globally, but we are still unclear how many pairs will be produced for the 2015 release. If we have any updates, we will let you guys know. The UNDFTD x adidas Consortium “10th Anniversary” Superstar will be releasing in Malaysia this coming Saturday ( 31st January 2015 ) exclusively at JUICE KL and will be retailing for RM569 per pair.

Adi Dassler x adidas Consortium “10th Anniversary” Superstar

In 2005, adidas Originals paid homage to their founder and namesake by adding a picture of Adi Dassler on the heel of the iconic OG vintage Superstar. In 2015, for the 10th anniversary, the Three Stripes brand will be flipping the colorway around which boast a premium soft black leather upper which is complimented by Adi’s face features debossed on the heel in  black & white. Leather Three Stripe branding with matching  vintage off-white shell toe, heel padding and midsole to give added character to the shoe while the Dassler, Three Stripes branding and 10th anniversary markings is applied to the tongue and footbed to finish the look. 

The pair will be dropping this coming Saturday ( 31st Jan 2015 ) exclusively at JUICE KL and will be retailing at RM569 per pair.

Hustler 3D by TNTCO Detailed Look

“Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle”, this is a quote by Abraham Lincoln which is also the motto of the brand TNTCO. They released the Hustler Long Sleeve tee previously featuring a hustler in town (Cloakwork) to pay tributes to all hustlers. To continue implementing the idea, the new Hustler 3D collection is released. This time they featured another Hustler in town, who is the founder of a local brand Maximunity called Tallen Thong . They used the idea of 3d movie to do the graphic design, so if you are looking at the shirt without a 3d glasses you will feel dizzy which brings out the message that even you are a hustler, if you don’t look at the society clearly you will be confused or even scammed by people around you. Asics Gel Lyte III “Soft Grey” Detailed Look

The ASICS retro department drops yet another upstanding and creative colourway  for the Gel Lyte III with this look in grey, light blue and red. Features a white mesh base with grey and light blue suede overlays. Red mesh for the split tongue, navy for the ASICS stripes, and a dappled midsole to finish off the clear cut look. You can pick up your pair now at Hundred%  and will be retailing at RM369 per pair.

 

ASICS Gel Lyte III “Estate Blue” Detailed Look

Just in time for the fall/winter season, the ASICS Gel Lyte III is making it glorious return to the scene with a revamped look. These revamped kicks feature a combination suede and mesh with an Estate Blue-coloured upper with green accenting across its white-cushioned midsole. Look even closer and you can see star details along the ankle collar and tongue. You get to see the added bonus on these ones when you flip the light switch off and see it glow in all its glory.

The ASICS Gel Lyte III “Estate Blue” is now available at selected ASICS retailers including HUNDRED% and is retailing at RM 429.00 a pair.

 

SuperSunday “Bloodline” Campaign Shots by TTFGA

What you saw in our previous post is the lookbook for SuperSunday‘s latest collection titled “Bloodline”, and now we are served with a fresh plate of new pictures of the collection’s campaign shots which was also done by Ridduan TTFGA Ismail himself. Together with New Balance Malaysia, who provided them with fresh kicks for the shoot, Ridduan worked with a bunch of students, random people, and friends who he have randomly scouted on Instagram, met at fashion shows, or at parties to come on board and help out with the shoot. The video for his latest single ‘Baek’ from his recent album ‘Havoc’ dropped just yesterday. The city of New York sets the perfect backdrop for this video as Joe spits verse after verse. If you watch closely, you may even catch glimpses of some certain famous people in the video – Sharifah Amani etc. We are feelin’ this video so why don’t you guys check it out!

Able to with stand most weather conditions, this pair is definitely suitable for the rainy weather of Malaysia. The Gel Lyte V silhouette is seen here donning a sleek black breathable mesh upper that is coated in weatherproof materials that features volt accents throughout the shoe. The pair also features some reflective 3M detailing to seal the deal on this pair.

The digital age has taken art to a different level. Art nowadays goes beyond putting pen to paper and digital art is beginning to take over the local art scene. One of the pioneers of digital art, more specifically vector art, in Malaysia is a young talent who is known mononymously as Dribblack all across the Interweb. His portraits of Malaysian figures such as Yuna, Joe Flizzow, P. Ramlee and even Datuk Lee Chong Wei are among his best in an extensive body work. “Road To Ramlee” Official Teaser

Homegrown editor, Rewan Ishak dropped a teaser of his latest work “Road To Ramlee”. Rewan, known for his amazing work on the movie “KIL”, is working on a story about four close friends in a P.Ramlee tribute band that goes in search of their own true voice, in hopes of becoming a legend. Besides this, Rewan is also working on another project titled “Negeri Di Atas Pasir”, starring Sharifah Amani, Nadiya Nisaa, Hasnul Rahmat, Nas T and Jonny Lee. However, the release date of this film is unspecified as it is still under development. “Road To Ramlee” is set to be released on the 28th of January 2015.
