Apple Newest Mid-Range Smartphone Has Just Landed With A Starting Price Of RM 1,999

A mid-range Apple phone has always been a bit of a lovable niche when it comes to design and specs, balancing out the latest hardware that’s often found in their flagships while still retaining the shape of its predecessors, and the first iPhone SE, which resembled the iPhone 5 proved to be a popular hit, mostly because people missed the form factor before Apple enlarged it with the iPhone 6.

Now, continuing in the same vein, Apple has just introduced the 2nd Generation of the iPhone SE, which now looks like an iPhone 8 (same aluminium and glass construction), but includes the same A13 Bionic chipset as the iPhone 11, and as many users will have or eventually noticed, only a single camera in an age where mobile phones now have more lenses than your average camera man.

A 4.7″ Retina IPS Display makes the bulk of the front, ensuring true colour reproduction as well as sharp contrast, while the internal memory is served by way of 3 options: 64gb, 128gb, and 256gb. But now we come to the real star of the show, and that’s the camera.

Now, even though it may seems a bit paleolithical of Apple to retain just one 12 megapixel camera and a 7 megapixel front facing camera, it doesn’t sacrifice any of the features found in the higher spec models. Portrait Mode is still the highlight of any iPhone camera, still containing the same features such as depth control, and Portrait Lighting for a faux-professional studio shot. Smart HDR has not lost any of its IQ, being able to detect a face, and intelligently captures more natural-looking contours and skin tones, while finessing highlights and shadow details in the background.

Video recording is capable of shooting 4K at 60 FPS, while the extended dynamic range feature is available but only at 30 FPS.

Now we come to pricing, and surprise surprise, it doesn’t break the bank. The 64gb model starts of at RM 1,999, 128gb at RM 2,199, and the 256gb topping off at RM 2,699.

Interested? The phone is set to launch on the 24th of April, but in the meantime, have a look at the website and oodle at the pictures. Will you be getting one?

Jordan Brand Pays Tribute To Michael Jordan’s First NBA Title With The Re-Release Of The Air Jordan 6 DMP

Storytelling has always been a key part of sneaker culture, and we start our story back in 2006, when Jordan Brand introduced its first ever two-pair set called the “Defining Moments Package” that serves as a tribute to two of Jordan’s greatest moments as a professional basketball player. Comprising of an Air Jordan 6 and 11, the whole concept of it was an elegant thing too; understated black/gold colourways, special dog-tags, booklet, and artwork on the box was given along with the shoes, and still remains a coveted set up to this day.

And now, the Air Jordan 6 sets its return 14 years on, being available in a full size run, so everyone can pay homage to MJ’s first NBA title back in 1991. Same elegant black/gold colour mix, same blocking, replete with all the nostalgia of a bygone era.

The Air joprdan 6 “DMP” drops this Saturday on the 17th of April, for a price of RM 815 at Nike.com.

That being said, the prices of the meals might vary as they have a lot of selections but start at a minimum price of RM12 and above. However, there’s a light in every tunnel as Lisette’s Cafe and Bakery offers a variety of cakes and pastries such as Pandan cake, Rich Chocolate Brownies, Peach Brioche Crumble and Cherry Danish.

Apart from that, the outlet also offers a breakfast menu and other local dishes such as Johor Laksa, King Prawn Hakka Noodles and Nasi Kerabu Ikan Perchik. adidas Dresses The 350 V2 In ‘Linen’

As models evolve and new silhouettes are introduced, it’s nice to see stalwarts such as the 350 still holding its own amongst the release of more hype collaborations, and staying true to form of the Yeezy colour palette, this edition of the 350 v2 is donned up in ‘Linen.’

The model differentiates itself by way of two-tone detailing, primarily coloured in a soft tan hue complemented with post-dyed monofilament side stripes for a bit of a pop. Collar trim and sockliners are presented in a shade of grey.

Eagle-eyed spotters would have also noticed the absence of a heel tab that allows a cleaner looking silhouette, while the BOOST equipped midsole is wrapped around a translucent rubber cover, complete with a gum midsole.

The adidas Yeezy 350 V2 ‘Linen’ will drop globally on April 18, on adidas online for an estimate price of RM 990. Will you cop?

Tony Hawk Joins The Vans Family As An Official Brand Ambassador

There’s no other name as synonymous with skateboarding except one that is akin to him flying like a bird on the board, and it’s none other than Anthony Frank Hawk, and as of yesterday, Tony Hawk joins forces with Vans to become their new brand ambassador

“Vans has supported skateboarding since the very beginning, and never wavered in its commitment, even with massive mainstream success,” said Hawk. “I have always respected their integrity, so it is an honor to officially join forces and help continue to grow skateboarding culture in the most authentic way possible.”

Hawk recalls that the first ever skate shoes he wore were Vans all the way back in 1978. “My dad bought me a pair and I begged him for the ‘ankle guard’ accessory because high-tops weren’t available yet. I wore Vans almost exclusively until the mid ‘80s,” he revealed.

“Tony Hawk’s name is synonymous with skateboarding for fans around the world,” said Bobby Gascon, global director of action sports for Vans. “He is a pioneer and has inspired millions to pick up a board with his incredible talent. We are honored that he’ll be supporting Vans’ mission to promote and grow skateboarding globally.”

In collaboration with the brand too, Hawk will be producing an all-new vert skateboarding competition while also focusing on the positive impacts of skateboarding during the COVID-19 pandemic. And in case you forgot what Tony Hawk can really do back in his prime, check the video down below.

Bell & Ross’s New GMT Collection Enables Users To Tell The Time In 3 Different Timezones

Written by Ardi

Bell & Ross presents the GMT collection, a series of watches that are essential for airplane pilots and a must have for those who enjoy traveling around the world with the unique ability to display three different timezones at once. Following the design ethos of any other Bell & Ross watch, function and legibility come first, and it’s extremely apparent in this line.

The watch displays 3 different timezones using various multi-coloured hands and bezels as explained below:

  •  Three white hands display the hour in one time zone.
  • The orange hand that rotates around the dial in 24 hours show a second time zone (or the local time on a 24-hour scale)
  • The bi-directional bezel has a 24-hour scale. It enables reading of the second time zone,  thanks to the fourth hand called “GMT” which is differentiated by the red or orange arrow depending on the model. It can also display a third time zone. Rotating it clockwise subtracts hours and anti-clockwise adds hours.

There are few different types of GMT that have been introduced, BR 03-93 GMT (priced at Rm 15,000), BR V2-93 GMT with rubber straps (Rm 13,200) and steel strap (Rm 14,600). The BR V2-93 GMT BLUE also comes with steel strap (Rm 14,600) and elastic canvas (Rm 13,200).

If you are interested to get a GMT watch for your next adventure, check out their online boutique HERE
