The Yeezy 350 ‘Sesame’ and ‘Zebra’ Are Releasing Very Soon

Yeezys For All

Kanye’s got a whole line up of shoes ready for launch this month. Right after the release of the 500 ‘Salt,’ the 350 ‘Sesame’ now is on the clock for a release soon, but first, let’s talk about the ‘Zebra.’

Supposedly one of the more highly prized colourways among the 350 lot, Adidas announced that they’ll be restocking the ‘Zebras,’ and they’ll be restocking huge. This also means that you’ll be able to get your hands on a pair way easier than the first drop, and at retail price. The ‘Zebra’ is set to release on November 9 with a retail of RM 990 at Adidas.com or Yeezy Supply.

The ‘Sesame’ on the other hand, is one colour that’s bound to be an instant classic very soon. The gum sole, on top of a very neutral-toned upper makes for an easy shoe to match with whatever outfit you throw at it. We’d cop.

While the ‘Sesame’s’ retail price is yet to be announced, we’d bet on around RM990 as well, and releases on the 23rd November, also on Adidas.com and Yeezy Supply. For those who have not been able to cop, now’s the time.

Cloakwork Gets Enlisted By Bethesda To Decorate Fallout 76 Helmets For Charity

The season of giving is approaching and video game publisher ‘Bethesda Softworks’ has started their initiative to give back to the masses.

Bethesda Softworks recently partnered up with Hypebeast to launch the #HelmetsForHabitat campaign where all proceeds from the final auction sale will be donated to ‘Habitat For Humanity’, a global nonprofit organization who aims to provide a home for everyone, aligned with their vision where they believe everyone deserves a decent place to call home. The campaign handpicked 40 contemporary & street artist worldwide to customize T51 power armor helmets from Bethesda Softworks latest iteration of its award-winning Fallout series, Fallout 76.

When we say ‘Malaysia Boleh’, local graffiti artist Cloakwork represents the slogan when it comes to the art scene. Why, you ask? Cloakwork’s art was acknowledged and put to good use for the campaign to help out the charity as he was one of the handpicked street artist. He proceeded to customize 5 helmets, inspired by our favourite childhood superheroes, Power Rangers.

Currently, his customized helmets are up for auction with a leading bid of USD$351 (RM1, 467.18) and with 14 more days left to auction, we expect higher bids towards the end of the auction. If you would like to help out the least fortunate and support Cloakwork our local graffiti artist, head over to Paddle8 to place your bids. We applaud Cloakwork for using his art to benefit the least fortunate and we encourage every other local artist to keep up the hustle with hopes for them to be recognized globally in the near future.

The Yeezy 500 Salt Is Confirmed Dropping on November 30

No Fap November? Hell no. It’s Yeezy Season now, cos Ye just unveiled the third colourway in the 500 series. The ‘Salt,’ as it’s come to known, is the third colourway to be revealed following the release of the ‘Blush’ and ‘Utility Black.’ The shoe has garnered quite a bit of attention from its complex and odd looking design that’s both equal parts luxe and street.

Premium suede, nubuck and mesh make up the upper, with 3M reflective accents, while the midsole foregoes BOOST completely, and instead replacing it with AdiPRENE+ and a full rubber outsole. November 30 is the marked drop date, available at Adidas.com as well as Yeezy Supply for a simple sum of RM 1400. Whatever it is, it’s still better than the ‘Mauve’ in general. Will you cop?

Jordan Brand Celebrates Its Partnership With PSG With Collaborative Air Jordan 1

Recently, French football club Paris Saint-Germain and Jordan Brand collaborated to release a pair of Air Jordan 5’s, and the scene went into a bit of a stir. A football name?? With a basketball brand?? Regardless of the speculations, feedback showed positive reception, and it’s only right that both parties collaborated again with another legacy silhouette, the Air Jordan 1.

The new colourway features the exact same palette as the Air Jordan 5; in line with Paris Saint-Germain’s new jersey colours that is now a mixture of black, white, and red accents. Team stripes are present on the three quarter lateral portion on the midsole, and alternate colours are also present on the tongue tab. The Wings logo is stitched on separately and is finished with metal aglets. What’s missing however, is the absence of leather for the upper, which instead employs mesh, but apart from that, all other details are accounted for and present. For collectors, this is a no-brainer.

If you are looking to complete the pack, the special football-inspired Air Jordan 1 will be releasing on Nike, 3rd of November accompanied with a price tag of RM649. What do you think, will these sell out just like the Air Jordan 5?

PUMA Collaborates With Atelier New Regime For Streetwear-Ready Styles

PUMA has definitely stepped up their game in the lifestyle department and now, they are elevating it with an exclusive collaboration with Montreal-based streetwear label, Atelier New Regime (ANR). ANR is well known for their streetwear ready-to-wear which incorporates modern, French-influenced designs, English ethnicities of Montreal and motorsport drawn inspirations.

ANR was founded by three dreamers, a collection of creatives, passionate about art, design, photography and street culture. Recognized for their refined aesthetic, prominent slogans and striking use of the color orange, ANR often challenge themselves to offer the market design-conscious pieces and innovative experiences. For the AW’18 debut collection, ANR takes their seasonal staples to the next level by lending their design influence to a range of PUMA styles namely the classic Suede, Court Platform, Basket Boot, TSUGI Jun and the Thunder. Rugged outsoles, reflective pullers and large rubberized logos, the collection blends in the technical details of sports with street-ready styles.

The Basket Boot ANR leads the pack with a build of tonal neonprene upper, a waterproof branded zipper on the forefoot, winterized rugged outsole, dripping in scarlet Ibis and PUMA Black colorways. The look book is completed with a range of motorsport-inspired cut lines and oversized logo print apparels to pick from.

The collection is now made available for purchase in major PUMA outlets with a price range of RM169 to RM716.

Oops, Nike Is Re-Releasing The ‘Pine Green’ and ‘Court Purple’ Air Jordan 1s

I don’t think anyone would have had the foresight for this. After a much heated period of raffles and trades resulting in a fairly expensive price tag, the Swoosh has decided to say f*ck it and drop more pairs of the recently coveted colourways.

For those who aren’t in the know, the ‘Court Purple’ and ‘Pine Green’ colours are not part of the OG lineup of colourways; instead presenting a different mix to the blocking altogether, much like the upcoming ‘Not For Resale’ pack. Reminiscent of the ‘Bred Toes,’ both new entries feature the same type of blocks, namely the toebox, heel cup, collar wings, and outsole. Material is said to be made with the same leather as the ‘Bred Toes,’ translating to a higher than average quality. The fact that the rest of the whites are in cream just gives it that vintage oomph. Very neat stuff.

Both the ‘Court Purple’ and ‘Pine Green’ Air Jordan 1s will release on November 4, at nike.com at 9am. You know the drill.

Foot Locker Is Finally Opening Their First Store In Malaysia

If it’s at Foot Locker, then it is approved!

The local sneaker scene has been growing fast since a couple of years ago and it isn’t stopping anytime soon.

Besides our local concept sneakers stores namely Sole What, Crossover and Hundred%, sneaker retailer brands from overseas have noticed a niche to fulfill here in Malaysia. First, it was JD Sports, followed by AW Lab and now, one of the biggest players in the scene has stepped foot into Malaysia, Foot Locker, one of the leading athletic footwear and apparel retailers globally. Strong claims of their passion for sneakers, they are here to offer the Malaysia sneaker scene with some of the most exclusive and highly-sought after sneakers.

Rumours were widespread too, as a job opening for sales associate was found through Jobstreet, confirming that the retail giant is opening soon.

620 stores on European soil itself, across 20 countries, and 30 years of living, breathing and dreaming sneakers, Foot Locker has finally got one foot in on Malaysian turf. Their first store will be opening soon in 1 Utama Shopping Centre, so keep a look-out.

Against Lab Juxtaposes Feng Tao And Taoism In Their New Collection

Not usually two words that you’d find together, AGAINST LAB has decided to combine two ends of the spectrum into a singular collection, which may come as a surprise to some, but not to the them.

Aptly called the ‘Feng Taoist Retreat,’ Chinese rave culture, or ‘Feng Tao’ comes together and meets face to face with a meditational counterpart, Taoism, striking a balance between the two. AGAINST LAB cites several parallels can be drawn between the two; the see saw act between dark and light is mirrored in the balance of treble and bass in typical Feng Tao mixes.

The collection features 6 tees that interprets this mix together into AGAINST’s style of organised graphics. True to the thematic, only black and white makes the background, with several graphics depicting strong Feng Tao inspirations.

‘Feng Taoist Retreat’ by AGAINST LAB is now available on site and at selected stockists.

The insoles feature more skeleton print while the outsole is given the glow-in-the-dark treatment to complete the spooky look and theme of this release.

We are yet to find out the exact release date but with Halloween creeping near, we are certain it will be before the end of the month. The Nike Air Force 1 ‘Skeleton’ will be available on Nike with a retail price of RM389.
