Lux Spectra Talks About Hardship & Rejection On Their Latest Single “Hey Scarface!”
Lux Spectra, a four piece of passionate people whom currently embarking their rock music to be heard around in our local scene. The band, which has been, released tons of songs and even a music video too but this time they’ve released another of their latest single called the “Hey Scarface! ” lifted off from their latest “6800” EP.
The song is about an individual’s experience growing up in a town and not feeling belonged or feel being rejected by people to the point where he’s not happy with his own life. Scarface is a good reference to the individual who thinks that if only he were to scar himself, and then only would people finally pay attention to him.

#SNEAKERLAH2017, Malaysia’s biggest sneaker event took place last weekend at KL Convention Centre, where we saw a massive gathering of 25,000 sneakerheads and shoe connoissuers get together for all things Sneakers. Take a look at the footwear fever at SneakerLAH, you guys went all out stunting your holy grails in full force causing massive heat, even toddlers were spotted making moves in their kicks; “start young”, they say. During the two day event, official event photographers Syafiq Anak Saleh, Mellowed High and Safwan Sarimin were on the hunt to capture your hyped sneakers; impossible pairs to miss-look are the Nike Air Mag, AJ 1 x Off-White, Nike Hyper Adapt, Nike Mars Yard by Tom Sachs, Air Max 97 x Undefeated, Insta Pump Fury x Vetements, Human Race F&F and obviously Yeezy’s plus many other rare sneakers causing major envy.

Pop-Rock Band Perajurit Returns With A New Single “Jangan Lepaskan”
After releasing their first single “Kau Dan Aku” homegrown pop-rock band based in Kajang, Perajurit is back on the field with their newly released single titled “Jangan Lepaskan”.
As you all may know “Jangan Lepaskan” is their second song which aims to strengthen their new and fresh music flow among Malaysian music listeners. The song tells us about individuals who should not go back after making a decision, we should be convinced and willing to give 100% of their commitment to the decision because they do not want to frustrate any of the challenges that await them. The song is now available from the bands official YouTube channel as well as streaming media on iTunes, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon, and many more.

SneakerLAH 2017 Recap
The biggest sneaker convention wrapped up the third instalment of SneakerLAH 2017, certainly bigger than the last, this year’s SneakerLAH impressively met over 25,000 sneakerheads under one roof!
The two day event kicked off sneaker culture activities to connect with the sneakerhead community; highlighted aspects of streetwear fashion, lifestyle, music. The sneaker exhibition display over 350 pairs of rare sneakers by Vans and Adidas. At SneakerLAH marketplace, streetwear brands and over 50 vendors provide services to fulfil sneakerheads their sneaker essential needs. Influential collectors and shoppers were able to sell and trade sneakers to find the perfect sneaker to add to their collection such as established brands like Vans, Puma, The Hundreds and notable homegrown streetwear brands like Pestle & Mortar, Stoned and CO, Against Lab and many more.
Other exciting activities that went down include a friendly competitive lacing competition, fashion show by Reebok, a trading pit for attendees to trade sneakers with each other. Skate enthusiasts took over the mini skate ramp hosted by Vans welcomed skaters to show-off skate tricks. For the waffle heads out there, shoe customization by legendary shoe customizer, Mark Ong SBTG held his world famous workshop in collaboration with Vans, designed for every participant to take home the knowledge and skills of personalizing their very own one-of-a-kind pair of kicks. To keep up with current sneaker events, Bryan Chin, founder of SneakerLAH rounded up a group of huge sneaker collectors, Bunga, Calen Leong, Nelson Tan, Mark Ong SBTG and Syafiq sat down to “Talk Lah” on current global sneaker trends and in-depth opinions of the industry.
The event was hyped all weekend by MC Dan Shiv, along with music performances by KL’s prominent artists such as Naufal featuring Harvinth Skin and Zamaera, Airliftz, Arabyrd, Jhin, SaturdaySelects by DJ Vin & Lionel Rizki. Each day of the two day weekend event hosted a lucky draw, lucky winners walked away with more than 100 pairs of hyped and rare sneakers and the grand prizes of two vespa!

Malaysia’s streetwear scene just got a shot of new energy with the launch of b.space, a 2,000 square foot haven for cult labels and high fashion streetwear. Located at Pavilion KL, the store has an impressive roster of brands that includes the likes of Christian Dada, Kolor, Y-3, Ami, Etudes, Maison Kitsune, Public School, Common Projects and many more labels that have never been made available before in Malaysia. Next season expect to see Alexander Wang, Wooyoungmi and Song For The Mute as well as more brands joining the store’s line up.
