Nike Celebrates Partnership With NBA Releasing Air Force 1 “Statement Game” Pack

In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the birth of Air Force 1, Nike will be releasing a bunch of their beloved Nike Air Force 1’s partnering with the NBA leagues. This upcoming Air Force “Statement Game” Pack was displayed at YO’HOOD in Shanghai last month features eight colourways inspired by NBA team colours. Unfortunately not all the colourways will be released in Malaysia, only colourways in Yellow, Red and Purple for the time being. The pack is dressed in a tumbled leather upper, features on the shoe include the Nike-printed laces and the NBA and AF-1 logo tags on the heels with an exaggerated Swoosh logo and the iconic Jerry West NBA logo ignites team spirit.

Vans OTW-AF Makeover The Iconic Authentic And Oldskool

Street meets skate on two most iconic Vans sneakers; the Authentic and Oldskool. The OTW-AF Authentic combines the original and now iconic Vans low top style with sturdy canvas uppers, an allover gothic typography “Off The Wall” screenprint, metal eyelets, Vans logos on the side and heel and of course their signature rubber waffle outsoles in White colourway. Whereas, the Vans Old Skool is a classic skateboard sneaker debuts the Vans stripe in a suede upper dressed in Black colourway and the same features as the OTW Authentic except for the reverse font colourway, both are also extremely durable.

Listen To “Nahas” By Toko Kilat

Homegrown alternative rock band based in Kuala Lumpur, Toko Kilat, has just released their newly single titled “Nahas”. Toko Kilat, which consist of Edwin Raj, Irfan Iskandar and Redzuan Hussin, who started the Toko Kilat project last year. Irfan Iskandar, their drummer who had previously noted for The Times and a sessionist expert for Brit-Pop band Bittersweet, had given us some ‘hints’ about this project before releasing the “Pemacu Api” song with his band. As you can the second song was recorded in Kuala Lumpur and mix by Keith Yong, and mastered neatly by Greg Calbi (John Lennon, David Bowie) at Sterling Sound of New York City.

You Won’t Have To Take A Rain Check With The Urban Commuter Sneaker, Komyuter SE

Nike Komyuter a.k.a the KMTR 07 is back again ready to battle the wet weather ahead with its new water-repellant nylon upper for dry comfort. The latest sneaker released adopt a new textile upper that differs in texture from the shoe’s previous ACG (All Conditions Gear) sneaker four-way stretch mesh construction. However, the model retains the same water-repellent durability. The urban commuter sneaker built for both style and function on the streets. The shoe’s foldable upper is simply sleek with matching details seen on the magnetic strap buckle. The bungee cord detailing, branding on the tongue and midsole are coloured in white to complete the two-tone design altogether. Two colourways of the Nike KMTR Premium are released in ‘Obsidien’ and ‘Desert Moss’.

SneakerLAH 2017 Official Rastaclat Bracelet

The Rasta-Lah 2.0 is back in a new colourway! 2016 saw the very first collaboration between US-based brand Rastaclat and Malaysia’s biggest sneaker convention, Sneaker-Lah. The Rasta-Lah is a collaboration effort that aims to push the boundaries with the #CLATSANDKICKS movement.

This year, the exclusive and limited edition Rastaclat bracelet is inspired by the Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet. The ‘Silver Bullet’ is a direct recreation of an iconic colourway, first released in the debut year of the Air Max 97. Otherwise known as the ‘Metallic Silver’ edition, this lightweight and comfortable runner was way ahead of its time. It not only looked futuristic but boasted state of the art performance that wouldn’t be out of place in today’s sneaker offerings.

As for the laces, a white sheep skin material was used. 3FeetCustoms logo replaced the original Nike label on the tongue for an obvious identity recognition.
