Restraint “Still Believes” Music Video

As you all may know or may not know last night our hardcore metal giants Restraint has released a new single in a form of music video called “Still Believes” taken from their debut album “Rise Above Hate”.

The songs you’ve heard the passion and belief in these lyrics right from the start of the track. As the band newest record showed that the band incorporating metal into their overall sound fully embraces it (from riffs, drum patterns, overall production ) and uses it to accent the music with more ferocious detail.

Hardcore or metal is more than just music it’s also about life. Directed by Jonny Lee with an additional footage by Meor Nazrin, and edited by Abu Huzaifah – this music video pictured what of happening on the stage and also behind the scene of the band’s life. Hardcore or metal is more than just music it’s also about life and thats what make them STILL BELIEVE within this scene itself.

Heartbreak Anthem by Ivory Aisle

After releasing a couple of single, 4-man local rock band Ivory Aisle once again has unleashed another new single titled “Heartbreak Anthem“. Don’t let the cute monster on the lyric video fool you; because “Heartbreak Anthem” is not like the typical love songs saturating radio airwaves. As we mentioned before It’s a post-hardcore styled track mixed with screamo (but this time sounded a little bit the French band, Chunk! No Captain Chunk), so if you only appreciate mainstream pop flavoured love songs by baby faced boy bands, you might want to steer away from this one.

The single will be a part of the album but ivory aisle would still remain it same chemistry by not turning into a pop punk band since they’ve doing it for their upcoming debut album. They’ve even added a little bit of fun colours into their album so that it won’t be boring for the record buyers to explore their album concept.

So within their album there a variety of style for all the song that they’ve created to ensure that the listeners would know this Ivory Aisle signature. The songs, Heartbreak Anthem is a continuity of their previous single “There For Me” its about moving on from the words behind it and celebrating every steps ahead.

Kayczar, a young local hip hop enthusiast and rapper from the land of pirate, Johor Bahru, has just dropped his latest mixtape called “Talk About You// Punctuation”. After releasing his previous mixtape the “Excursions” Kayczar attempts to bring back the kind of lyrical depth that was more common during the earlier days of hip hop and sampling jazz music.

“The song is about how I’m tired of talking about other rappers and how I want to just talk about a girl. The second half is called punctuation because what I’m trying to do is put an end to the 2016 trap trend with a soul music haha” said Kayczar.

KL24: Zombies The Movie

We’ve seen a lot of Zombies apocalypses series come in a form of games and movies like Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, Diaries Of The Dead, and many more. This year what can we expect is that there’ll be more of this outbreak series coming through your screen. Malaysian film producer and director James Lee and with the help of his other team Gavin Yap and Shamaine Othman from Doghouse 73 Pictures is proving that a filmmaker can showcase his projects not just in the cinemas but also on YouTube.

As you all may know the KL24: Zombies is a movie anthology comprising three separate stories involving members of three local communities, all set within the first 24 hours of a zombie outbreak. Interesting right ? Well go grab your popcorn and give yourself a watch of this short movie below here.
