Vans is back at it again! We were honoured to be invited to the media and family launch of the Nintendo X Vans Collection at Sole What on 15th June. For the first time, the two renowned brands in their respective industries held hands to create a collection that would make both old-school gamers and sneakerheads go crazy!
The Nintendo X Vans collection is available now at selected Vans’ retailers such as Sole What and Crossover Concept Store. In the meantime, check out the short recap video of what went down during the launching event.
First released back in 1994, Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 10 on his return to the NBA after his first retirement from basketball. 22 years later, the AJ 10 has now received the London treatment from Jordan Brand.
The London edition features its full-grain leather upper in two tones of grey, one light and one dark with a crackled treatment, which seem to evoke the often foggy weather of the capital city of England. Hints of gold are found on the “LDN” and Jumpman logo embroidery to complete the colourway.
The pair will be available tomorrow (18th June 2016) at selected Jordan retailers like Hundred%. Priced at RM769.
The Quiet Life isn’t just a hip-hop album by Fresh Daily, it’s also a really renowned Los Angeles brand.
Recently, they’ve teamed up with Saucony for a silhouette that transformed Shadow 5000 into an intergalactic adventure. Utilizing a predominantly dark palette with a nod towards space, the low-top sneaker flaunts tonal black across its suede toe box. Light blue and dark black suedes make up the rest of the shoe, with their “The Quiet Shadow” moniker on the tongue label.

If you’re into pop punk sound waves and love pizza (who doesn’t love pizza!) this is the band you really need to check out. This 5-piece Malaysian emo/pop punk band, Social Circuit, are newcomers in the scene with their first music video titled “Slither“. The band is actually somewhat of a reincarnation of Kids On The Move frontman Dean’s previous punk mix post hardcore band The Dearly Missed. The previous band couldn’t quite take off due some members having commitment issues, so Dean started venturing into more emotionally charged music and recruited other members from Median Coast to form Social Circuit.

As we mentioned before in a relatively recent post, the guys over at The Swagger Salon had delivered a fresh new apparel collection under its LANSI brand called “Good Ain’t Good Enough“, so it was only a matter of time before the lookbook made its way into the public eye. Well, here it is! To recap, the collection comprises 19 simple yet stylish items that include 11 t-shirts, one raglan and one shirt. The collection also features 6 headwear items comprising normal and panel snapbacks to dad hats.
We think the lookbook showcases the collection’s appeal exceedingly well, but we can’t quite put our finger on to why that is. Maybe it’s the lighting…

Local brand Raymars are back with their first delivery for this year’s Ramadan season called the “Lebaran” collection. For this offering, Raymars incorporates their “colour of life” concept from their previous collection, though this time with an even wider colour palette to choose from. Each design embodies a minimalist concept while remaining stylistic and street oriented.
We’re still very early in the month of Ramadhan, but we’re sure that some of you are already thinking of saving for your Raya outfits. The Anaabu Eid ’16 “Essence of Amity” collection features 15 designs that make up five complete looks, with three of them that are unisex. Along with traditional Malay pieces such as Baju Melayu, Baju Kurung, Kebarung, and Kipas Sarong, the collection incorporates contemporary garments as well. Take, for instance, its pants of various cuts and the skants (which are a skirts and pants hybrid).
The muted clothing, though comfortable and practical, still retains an understated air of style and individuality.
