Nintendo X Vans Collection

In a bid to sate the nostalgia of old-school gamers while providing sneakerheads with more reasons to salivate over killer kicks, Nintendo and Vans have banded together to produce this collection bearing the aesthetic of timeless 8-bit gaming gems.

The Nintendo games that will see their likeness imprinted on Vans footwear in all their pixelated glory are Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, and Duck Hunt. If that wasn’t spectacularly geeky enough, the iconic ‘GAME OVER!’ wording is printed at the base of the shoe, with “GAME” on one half of the pair and “OVER!” on the other. This makes the shoe… well, a shoe-in for any brawls you might have. Why, you ask? Imagine the last thing your unfortunate opponents see before they black out are the words “GAME OVER!” as you drop kick them in the face.

P.S: Please don’t drop kick anyone in the face.

The collection is not quite out on our shores just yet, but be ready to check them out at selected Vans’ retailers when they do go live this 15th June!

OBSCR’s Tribute Collection “Essential Pack” Lookbook

The collection is slated to be released this Friday (10th June 2016) exclusively on their website. In the meantime, stay tune to any future updates by following their Instagram here.

CRAZY GRIZZLY – APAKAH! (Lyric)

Verse 1

Apakah ini yang ku mencari
Kini pasti ku kan tertipu lagi
Takkan ku goyah tak ku gentar petualàngnya
Segalanya yàng kau pernah ada
Tak akan terus di hina

C/o
Tak akan henti diulangi
Tak akan daku berhenti terus menuding jari
Tak akan henti diulangi
Tak akan daku berhenti
Untuk terus dikhianati

Verse 2

Cemburu segunung azam mereka
Tak akan ku biar ku jatuh
Di sekeliling mu
Buka mata mu lupakan segala
Luka air mata segala nya yang kau pernah ada
Tak akan terus di sini

Froya “Rosie” Music Video

Local singer & songwriter Michelle Lee, more famously known as Froya, has released her new music video for her song called “Rosie“. If you’re wondering why the song is titled Rosie, it is because this song is actually dedicated to her lovely pet dog named, you guessed it, Rosie.

“Initially, the song was inspired by Rosie’s snores, which where so loud considering it was coming from such a small body. Then I got the idea to record a bunch of other sounds that she makes in a day. As the idea progressed, I thought, why not make it into a full song?” said Froya.

She said D1 Production came up with the video’s concept of a fun adventure in a dream within a dream from a dog’s perspective.

“It’s about how they may see us as other animals in real life and how in many respects we aren’t much different from animals or nature,” said Froya.
