SLPK by SLUPARK is a brand that created by Anness and a few of her friends back in year 2014. SLPK goes live as a local Malaysian web shop with a small range of exclusive streetwear clothing. Now, they’re latest collection which is a coach jacket called the “DIE SKATEBOARDING”. It is a premium quality coach jacket, which is design for streetwear skateboarding.

FKJ Live at COMO

An accomplished artist and rising star of the Parisian electronic scene, FKJ, also known as French Kiwi Juice, is one of the flag bearers of the New French House musical genre. FKJ will be performing his sets live at COMO on the 27th January 2016, Wednesday night at 10.30p.m. You may have heard of his remixes and original music on Soundcloud. FKJ has mastered the sounds of smooth electronic music with groovy loops, classic hip hop beats and catchy bass lines. You will get to see him live now at COMO at TREC – the newly opened Spanish bar by Pisco.

CTFKL : Collectors Toyfair Kuala Lumpur

Mark down your calendars guys as CTFKL is back for another toy fair invasion. Started off in 2012 as a non-profit and charity organization for toy collectors, CTFKL aims to be one of the benchmark for local Malaysian toy enthusiast. They’re known as one of the independent organization which are not backed by any toy company. Besides, they felt that there was a need to dedicate this “Collectors Toy Fair” for all the serious collectors out there in Malaysia and from what they claim, It doesnt matter if you’re a die hard fan or just a curious individual, they’re here to welcome everyone to participate in this event.

Extra Butter X ASICS “Karaoke”

Asics is hooking back up with New York based retail shop, Extra Butter to blast some synthetic tune and release their latest Extra Butter x ASICS Gel Lyte V “Karaoke” collaboration.

Inspired by the concept that stems from an iconic scene in Los In Translation. The sneaker comes with a mix of pink, black and grey to mirror the black shirt, grey skirt and pink wig worn by Scarlett Johansson in the karaoke scene.

In conjunction of the release, they launched a teaser video-starring model Nicole Bonifacio, who heads to a karaoke bar to belt out some of her favorite tunes.

Check out the detailed images and they are available now at all Onitsuka Tiger KLCC, Sunway Pyramid, Mid Valley and Gurney Plaza. The retail price tag is set at RM699.

The Borak-Borak Sessions: Indie Artist Lim Keh Soon

Lim Keh Soon,  an indie visual artist who lived and worked in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was involved in the local independence scene since 2008. Recently Lim just founded a group called- Huaguoshan, the idea behind this group is to assist younger artist to gain exposure in the independence art scene and also learning to cultivate their creativity and thoughts. The group will launch a comic magazine called ” POoP” on earlier March 2016 which Lim as the editor and together with 7 other artists in this book.

Lim usually favours large canvases with figurative subject matter, albeit fragmented by his imagination to convey the environment of today’s Malaysia. The work is open for a varied response and aims to trigger memories and thoughts. Check out the video below!

Sheila On 7 “Teman, Sahabat & Cintaku 20th Anniversary Tour” Live In Kuala Lumpur

A group of an Alternative Rock/Pop Rock band from Yogyakarta, Indonesia Sheila On 7 or in other words SO7 will be having a tour to celebrate their 20th Anniversary as a band. They’ll be touring around their homeland and not to forget Malaysia is officially part of their tour schedule too. After selling a millions of copies and capturing their audiences hearts with their first self tittle album Sheila On 7 (1999 ) , the group originally called themselves “WHY Gank” is bursting with their album Kisah Klasik Untuk Masa Depan (2000), Anugerah Terindah Yang Pernah Ku Miliki (2000), 07 Des (2002), Pria Terhebat (2004), 507 (2006), Menentukan Arah (2008), Berlayar (2011) and last but not least Musim Yang Baik (2014). Now the band have officially announce that they’re are back again to Malaysia on 27th March 2016 at StarXpo Hall @ KWC Fashion City Mall and this time around the band themselves called the name of their anniversary tour “Teman, Sahabat & Cintaku”. I’m sure their fans in Malaysia can’t wait to see them live again. The ticket will be available at all selected Rock Corner Outlets.

Futuremade Studio – “No Time Out” Collection Lookbook

A follow up from their previous successful “Noise in Peace” Series which they launched awhile back, Futuremade Studio is now back with their latest collection titled “No Time Out”. The collection is inspired by the spirit of never giving up and having faith in yourself even when the going gets tough.

Focusing more on a clean-cut look along with paying closer attention to detailing and high quality fabrics, we see the clothing label breaking away from the usual monochrome nature of their past releases. This time around the collection consists of five well designed items- three distinctive designed t-shirt and two tote bags.

Onitsuka Tiger M66 50th Anniversary

This legendary footwear brand marks their 50th anniversary of the Onitsuka Tiger Stripes, the symbol of Onitsuka Tiger. First appeared in 1966, the stripes were conceived as the iconic design of Onitsuka Tiger ahead of the Mexico Games. Inspired by M66 concept, the lineup will feature a new model to highlight its storied 
history of the Onitsuka Tiger Stripes.

TAKSU Kuala Lumpur presents in ‘Locals Only 2016’, a showcase of new works by our popular Malaysian artists featuring Nizam Abdullah, Cinta Ayuandrea, Syed Fakaruddin, Fazrin Abd Rahman, Ong Cai Bin, Eman Aimilan, Agnes Lau, Syahmi Jamaluddin, Khairul Arshad, Nabil Adnan, Afiq Faris, Mark Tan, Mohsin Aminuddin, Nor Tijan Firdaus, Azizi Saad and others. This exhibition is held annually where it gives an insight into words by new and established talented Malaysian artists.  It gives new artists a chance to showcase their work.

The exhibition runs until the 28th of Januar6 2016, from 10a.m. to 7p.m.
