Signature Basic Collection is to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of Dr Mister Clothing. The brand was founded back in 2011 but only established two years after on 2013. The Collection will focus on their Identity and their Slogan “Imagine, Express, Dream“. DR MISTER, denotes every individual human being, to live the life they want. Free your imaginations, Express the meaning of your life, Dream on. Their goals is to produce unique street clothing with meanings, with interaction within ourselves as a person.

Fragment Design Teams Up With Stussy For Another 35th Anniversary Collection

Two of the hottest lines come together to create a very dope 35th anniversary collection of streetwear staples.  Hiroshi Fujiwara sent streetwear enthusiasts into a frenzy when fragment design is the latest to collaborate with Stussy as they bring back some classic silhouettes for both brands. It is most part clean and understated and the collection features nothing but fire from crewneck sweaters with bold logo feature at the same time, a white button up shirt emblazoned with the iconic “Double S” logo, hoodies and a patterned Tom Tom tee and more.

When two teams imprints their stature to join forces,  it’s prophecise to say that we can expect something truly special.

Madbeef KL “BEEF IN BEEF OUT”

Madbeef is a brand project fully owned by Mighty Harbour Studio which made up by two founder Mohd Helmy Nizam (Kimy) & Iqbal Hakim (Boo). These local independent brand surrounded with all the ‘HATING’ culture in the scene that needed to be erase from the industry. They came out with the idea of MADBEEF as a statement against all hate. They’re are MAD about all the beef’ing in the scene that they’re witnessing. Their Tagline “BEEF IN BEEF OUT” means theres no room for beef’ing here. The brand itself represents their personality, beliefs & values, creative branding, fashion interest, originality and past-current-future life experiences. They’re using this platform to highlight their illustration skills for the world to see how Malaysian talents are growing. Utilizing a cross between two world-renowned brands, Stussy and Fred Perry celebrated their classic sportswear at its finest. Offering an authentic contemporary collection of silhouettes with the Fred Perry Archive B50 Laurel Wreath logo taping, Stüssy SS-Link logo with its signature embroidery collection. Soundscape Records 15th Anniversary – Showcase #1

Soundscape Records is celebrating their 15th Anniversary this year with a series of showcases that are set to take place at various venues in 2016. Their first volume of the series will be held on the 23rd January at Playspace, featuring a Japanese math rock band called Lite together with 3 of our very own local talents that will be sharing the same platform on that night – Skits, Dirgahayu and Damn Dirty Apes.

The highly anticipated Nike We Run KL 2016 is back!

Nike is set to elevate the running experience for Malaysian runners with We Run KL 21K 2016. It is scheduled to take place on April 10th, 2016.  Nike is enabling runners to unleash their inner athlete via digital and on-ground services. Besides that, Nike Malaysia will be organizing a holistic 12-week training programme, powered by Coach in the Nike+ Running app, featuring a series of training sessions that cover different areas such as Speed Training, HIIT workouts and Distance Stamina. The programme will be brought to life and complemented at physical training sessions curated and supported by long-term partners of Nike and seasoned marathoners.

 To further support their We Run journey, select Nike retail outlets will also be providing personalized services to assist runners in selecting the best gear for both training and Race Day itself.

The registration fees for participants 25 years and above will be RM80 and for participants 24 years and below will be RM60. URBANSCAPES 2016: Tame Impala Live In KL

URBANSCAPES is back and this year around they are proud to announce their first line up which is an Australian famous psychedelic rock band, Tame Impala.

Hailing from Perth, Australia, a five piece of band which made up of Kevin Parker (guitar, vocal), Jay Watson (synthesizer, vocals, guitar), Dominic Simper (guitar, synthesizer), Cam Avery (bass guitar, vocal) and Julien Barbagallo (drums, vocal). After releasing a number of singles and EPs, Tame Impala released their debut studio album, Innerspeaker which was certified gold in Australia and received positive reception from the critics. Their follow-up album in 2012, Lonerism was also a success, reaching a platinum status in Australia and receiving a Grammy Award nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. The band’s latest album Currents marks a shift to more dance-oriented music where it was awarded Best Rock Album and Album of the Year at the 2015 ARIA Music Awards. Having played at major festivals/big festivals like Coachella, Sasquatch Festival, Glastonbury Festival and Laneway Festival, it is a huge honour to have the band play at one of the longest-running creative arts festival in Malaysia.

The band will be performing at KL Live on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 8pm.

This time round they are going with a Football meets Military inspired collection to bring forth garments that is vintage in look yet maintaining the stylish factor.
