“A\V” & “EON XL” by Verde

The new 2016 A\V (pronounced “Aay-Vee”) got even better for BMX beginner, it is now equip with a fully sealed Verde Regent cassette hub with 14mm axle. Weight at 26.2 pound, the bike featured 20-inch top tube, 165mm cranks and rise bar to fit your personal riding style.

The next in list is the 2016 Verde Eon XL, like every Verde, the Eon is on point with unique aesthetic and worthy spec. This time around, they upgraded to an integrated head tube at a chromoly down tube and it only weight at 25.3lb. To complete the look, it comes with Gum tires and glassy gold branding.

They are now available at selected Verde’s retailers like Showroom KL, priced at RM980 and RM1350.

Two significant brands from Japan and US, WTAPS and Vans Vault practice one of the most regularly stellar collaborations. To unveil Vans’ premium imprint, WTAPS callings a luxury range of Original Classics that are symbolic of both brands’ design legacies.

OG Sk8-Hi LX in an all-black style features embossed reptile nubuck with durable suede, which inspired by Mr.Tetsu’s favourite Vans release back in 1989. Whilst, another silhouette in the line-up, the OG Style 36 LX, was created with unity in mind. Taking one hue to all parts of the shoe, the OG Style 36 LX introduces black/black versions of itself in the Vault by Vans x WTAPS collection.

This luxury collection will be available at both Crossover and Sole What on 7th November, pricing at RM369 to RM399.

Red Wing Heritage – 110th Anniversary

During our last visit to the southern tip of Malaysia for the launching of the very first ever Red Wing Shop in the South East Asia, we managed to check out and get an in depth look at the iconic brand’s latest releases to commemorate their 110th anniversary.

The Huntsman 2015 is made of premium “Black Klondike” leather that received a lighter treatment as a way to pay homage to the method of leather dying used on the original hunter boots. The lighter coat of black will result in a “Rub-Off” effect where the leather is known to age beautifully as it will gradually come off and reveal the inner base layer of the rich brown leather as you worn them overtime. In addition, the pair also uses the combination of leather and Gro-Cord outsoles that features a rubber heel for anti-slip.

This time, Red Wing Heritage introduced new Lineman boots styles 2995 and 2996 that inherited the infamous Red Wing “Blucher” design and that draws inspiration from the details, outsole type and stitches of the Red Wing style #606 launched back in 1952. The popular safety shoe for one of the most dangerous professions is spotted in Retan leather enhanced with top coat of resin for more polished surface and a durable heel Nitrile Cork outsole.

adidas Football Unveiled The First Laceless Boots.

Adidas is definitely making some noise this year, and no one can slow down adidas’s pace. Just few days back, adidas football debuted the first-ever laceless football boots in history and this footwear innovation will introduce us into the future of football footwear. Arsenal star Mesut Ozil already had his first hand look with the boots and it looks like he really likes it!

Taking inspiration from footballer from all over the world, it feature primeknit material that makes up a newly designed collar. The Laceless is the latest in a series of groundbreaking innovations from adidas Football, which will land in 2016.

RECAP: Red Wing Shop in Shop @ City Square JB

Last Saturday, Crossover officially launched the first ever Red Wing shop in shop in South East Asia and for your info, shop in shop concept is dedicated to a specific brand by allowing them to sell under their own brand name. Of course, team Masses was there to cover what is happening at Crossover City Square JB.

This time around, Crossover had Mr. Takefumi with us again after he visited Malaysia since 8 months ago. Mr. Tekfumi is kind enough to share his knowledge about Red Wing and brought us a history tour.

Heritage boot brand Palladium has teamed up with the renowned Singaporean artist, Sabotage (SBTG) to put a stylish touch on collaborative boot capsule for Spring 2015.

This collection compromise four man’s designs in SBTG’s all time classic camouflage pattern at Pampa Oxford, Pampa Hi and Baggy silhouettes.

12-ounce cotton canvas as main material and screen-printed can be found at the panels. Lying on top of EVA midsole with cotton canvas lining for lightweight comfort and a cushioned step. Finishing by a custom logo detailing with Palladium label accents on the right foot quarter and a woven SBTG label on the left foot quarter and right foot tongue.

The limited edition Palladium x SBTG Collection is available now at Sole What The Gardens & Sole What One Utama.
