Talking 95s: Bunga

Continuing our series of videos on the Nike Air Max 95 “Greedy”, we sat down with another long time member of KLKIX and also well known DJ in the Kuala Lumpur night life scene, Bunga aka Lim to talk about his love-hate relationship with the AM95s, how he was first introduced to the pair and his top 3 pairs of AM95s.

The Nike AM95 QS “Greedy” drops this Saturday, 1st of August at Hundred Percent (Lot 10) at 7pm onwards.

Andfersand – “Stay In The Loop” Collection

Andfersand, a local accessories company, designed to bridge the gap between high end and street fashion has released its “Stay In The Loop” collection which consists of two products – The Brotherhood bracelet features a titanium steel bar finished in matte black, yellow gold and rose gold plating engraved to look like a Fine Suisse Gold Bar. The second product is The Brotherhood chain, also features a Titanium steel bar, available in a color combination of black/gold, black/silver, and full gold with black plating and a lobster clasp.

Locally crafted with the attention to details, all products come with sizes and to make it perfectly fit to all wrist sizes, elastic silicone chain were used for flexibility.

HOAXVISION Presents “HO4X”

It’s the 1st anniversary of HOAXVISION and they are bringing you their fourth series of the HOAX series called “HO4X”, supported by JUICE. The event will be happening on the 15th of August 2015 at Black Box MAP, Publika. Featuring a broad range of artists from electronic to folk; A/K/A Sounds (SG), Darren Ashley, Mushroom Buttons, Kopigo to name a few, HO4X will be an all ages event and tickets are priced at RM35 for presale and RM45 at door.

TEDxKL 2015

This TED is a little different from the Ted in the movies. Instead of you watching a comedy, you will be watching influential people speaking and sharing their ideas to you. TED which stands for (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a global set of conferences run by the private non-profit Sapling Foundation. Founded in year 1984, TED has been spreading ideas that are well, worth spreading. The main TED conference is held annually in Vancouver, Canada. TED events are also held throughout North America, Europe and Asia where Malaysia is included bringing you TEDxKL 2015. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. This event is going to be held on the 8th of August, 2015 at Putra Indoor Stadium. Click here for more details on the event. 

Talking 95s: Azuwan KLKIX

We sat down with the founder of KLKIX, Azuwan as he talks about his collection of Nike Air Max 95 and the latest release; Nike Air Max 95 “Greedy”.

The pair will be retailing at RM599 (inclusive of GST) and will be launched exclusively at Hundred% (Lot 10) on the 1st of August during the special launching event which will be happening from 7pm onwards.

Proton Saga, the first car by Proton is one of the well-known national symbol of Malaysia. A little information on this proud local car, it’s basically a series of compact and subcompact cars produced by Malaysian automobile manufacturer Proton since July 1985. Known to have been named after a tree that is commonly found in Malaysia, a retired soldier on the other hand claims that Saga was originally an acronym for safety, achievement, greatness and ability. Whatever it is, one thing to be sure is that this local car has done us proud! Amin Daud, a local artist illustrated this local car, made them into unique art pieces and have them digitally printed on recycled paper. 50 prints of this art pieces are each signed and numbered. These limited art pieces are now available for purchase at Dumpster for RM250 per piece with frame included.

UBIQ x ASICS Gel Lyte Speed “Cool Breeze”

Philadelphia-based UBIQ has teamed up ASICS to release a limited edition Gel Lyte Speed dubbed “Cool Breeze” inspired by the refreshing vibes of the summer months. This pair Gel Lyte Speed utilizes a color blend of aqua,sky blue and navy hues as an illustration of blue skies and ocean water, crafted with premium pigskin suede and leather. A soft touch of UBIQ’s signature logo on insole, giving a premium and detail finishing to the silhouette.

UBIQ x ASICS Gel Lyte Speed “Cool Breeze” is priced at RM569, they will be available at Sole What The Garden stores on 1st of August.

Air Max 95 “Greedy” Official Launch at Hundred%

Air Max 95 first touched down two decades ago, it quickly reached the iconic status it still holds today. Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, the all-new Air Max 95 ‘Greedy’ brings together four original colorways from the classic 95. The left shoe mixes “Safety Orange” and “Aqua/Grape” tones while the right pair takes “Neon Yellow” and “Hot Red” hues.

Narmi covers Blues Gang’s ‘Apo Nak Dikato’

It’s been awhile since Narmi’s last video update on his Youtube channel. He has returned with a cover of the classical ‘Apo Nak Dikato’ originally by the Malaysian band Blues Gang accompanied by Ryan Lee on the drums, Effy Arwis playing the bass & John Jeevasingham rockin’ the guitar.
