This past Saturday, Frenzyhoodx hosted “Sneakers Peek Gathering” to help build good relationships among the sneakerheads. Of course, this event is filled with imposing sneakers. Aziz Harun is a young talented singer from Brunei. He gained attention with his latest single titled “Senyum”. When he was just 16 years old(now 17), his musical talent open up opportunity for him to work with Faizal Tahir and Mike Chan to produce “Senyum”and the reception was overwhelming. Aziz Harun has been involved in many musical arts as early as 3 years old and began actively involved in the music industry when he joined the ‘ Bintang Kecil ‘ in 2009 and won the competition. His success did not stop there, in 2010 Aziz Harun has launched its first single ,’ Peace and Harmony ‘. In 2012, he was invited to Bandung , Indonesia to perform at 4th Marketplace Creative Arts.
In conjunction with Kuala Lumpur Performing Art Centre’s (KLPAC) 10th anniversary, Gala of the month, will be happening on the 28th till 30th of May at 8.30PM. This event is the last series of of KLPAC’s 10th anniversary celebration – Director Series as it will features 10 directors with 10 different theme plays, and the entry fee will be only RM10 by minimum donation. Among the directors that will be on the show are Alvie Cheng, Easee Gan, Eugene Ng, Faridah Merican, Kent Tan, Mark Beau de Silva, Omar Ali, UiHua Cheah, William Yap and Zamzuriah Zahari. Vintage furniture store, checked. American kitsch diner, checked. In keeping with the tradition, a local blues rock duo; Halfway Kings is set select one-of-a-kind venues to host their shows in. This time around, they have been granted access to an industrial style hotel by the team of Chaos Lab to host their debut album, “Bare Bones” which will be released by local independent label, Laguna Music. Supporting act for the show will be Ampang-based pop act; The Fridays, which also going to release their album any time soon. The Eastpak x Jean Paul Gaultier collection includes 7 backpacks altogether, there of which will be released as numbered, limited editions. All bags feature the overstitched and Bretton stripe on the back, which is a signature Gaultier design element.
The main collection comes with two designs, Bomber Backpack and Denim Backpack. Bomber backpacks comes in two colours, black and green. The Bomber Backpack is reworked as a backpack with all its codes intact, the nylon fabric, orange lining and rib trimming. The denim Backpack on the other hand, is available in Light and Dark blue Denim which is inspired by jean jackets in recto/verso version with dark and light colours with overstitched pockets and button fasteners.

During this past Saturday, “SNEAKER PEEK GATHERING 2015” happened at Frenzyhoodx. As expected, piles of devoted sneakerheads showed up, they were men, women, and even babies! A platform has been created to share the mutual interest and builds good relationships among each other in the community and also to the newcomers.
