Record Store Day at Teenage Head Records
Celebrated yearly on the third Saturday of April, this year’s Record Store Day will be held this Saturday (18th April) at Teenage Head Records, SS14 Subang Jaya. The sole purpose of Record Store Day is to celebrate the culture of independent record stores all around the world. Among of the acts that will be joining the event are Liyana Fizi, Blind Lennon, Mystery Tapes, and Elektone (SG). So if you’re free this weekend, head down to SS14 Subang Jaya!
The Nike Air Max 90 ‘OG’
The 25th anniversary edition of the Nike classic new Nike Air Max 90 OG uses the exact same colours as the originals Air Max, but what makes this special is the location of each colour is different. The eye-catching infrared is still used on the heel, eyelets, tongue and around the air unit . The major difference is the black is now placed on the midsole and mesh where originally would be white, and the mudguard is now in white instead of the traditional black. This Air Max 90 OG is a classic with a little twist. This shoe will be available at Hundred% and selected retail stores.
Nike WMNS Roshe Run KJCRD
Another Nike WMNS exclusive is the Roshe Run KJCRD. These latest silhouettes are crafted with a design that is inspired by the original Roshe designer. They offer two special colorways for this line which are White Grey; white and cool grey color scheme with molded eyelet panels packed with a clean white midsole and Wolf Grey Black; black and grey color scheme with a killer blue lagoon midsole. Both pairs have this over laying jacquard-like design which gives the shoes an almost animal patterned effect.
The price for the Nike WMNS Roshe Run KJCRD is RM329 (inclusive GST), and available in Hundred% and selected Nike outlets.
Unidentified Oracle x Damage
Unidentified Oracle is a clothing line from the darkside established in December 2013. Unidentified Oracle (UO) is more like a label-conscious work of art that is born originally from the hands and ideas of the team (UO) which makes every artwork they produced has a different story and message underneath. Their latest offering is a band crossover series with Klang Valley’s own negative hardcore; Damage. The t-shirt is available through their Facebook page and also during “Welcome To Our Darkness Side”, a music showcase organized by them this Saturday at Insider Space, Kompleks Maluri Cheras.

UNIQLO: Interview with NIGO
Jumping back onto the topic of Uniqlo’s recent launch for their collection “Shochiku Kabuki x Uniqlo” (if you’ve been following us, that is), the GUMBALL Mag crew posted up their interview with NIGO, UT’s Creative Director to share with us the little details that makes up the collection.
Here’s a little snippet of the interview below,
“There’s tremendous diversity in Japanese traditional dance. Why did you choose Kabuki for this collection?
Kabuki is originally a popular dance for the general public so other dances like the Noh is for a very closed type of the population, so we thought Kabuki would be the best fit for Uniqlo.”

Although in umpteen variations and collaborations repeatedly reissue, it never goes out of style. Also in this case where the “Sunset Glow” features a full white base that is emphasized with a colour of Sunset Glow on the mudguard, the Swoosh logo on both sides and back heel. Other details are a striking Hot Lava hitting the tongue tag, air unit and also the sole. For the “White Black” pair, it features a soft black base packed with a breathable mesh and finishes with their infamous silver accents on the air unit.
