Psycho – Invisible

Although new, Psycho is going strong and has now followed up with a new tee shirt named ‘Invisible’. The brand decided to go against the regular and attempted a “white on white” design in their latest release. According to Psycho, white is considered as transparent in pigment that’s where the concept ‘invisible’ came from, and Psycho is an “invisible monster” that exists in the surrounding.

RECAP : Good Vibes Festival 2014

The on and off heavy downpour didn’t stop the 8000+ people from making the most of last weekend’s Good Vibes at Sepang International Kart Circuit. Drenched and muddy, festival goers braved the rain, wind, occasional lightning as well as the slippery mud to experience the performances by Banks, !!!, Empire of the Sun, Ellie Goulding and the rest of the acts. Due to the rain, a number of performances had to be cancelled due to technical issues. Thankfully, the food and the drinks as well as the interactive games kept the festival going.

Banks won the crowd over with her smooth croons and powerful vocals.

!!! (Chk Chk Chk) got the crowd jumping.

Empire of the Sun gave one heck of a performance filled with jaw-dropping theatrics and a couple of outfit changes.

Ellie Goulding closed the show with her quirky personality and dances.

Puma has teamed up with Japanese label Whiz Limited and retailer mita sneakers to come out a pair of Puma Trinomic XT2. The shoe is a premium silhouette of the classic Puma runner, and it features a construction in suede and mesh. The shoe is dipped in navy blue, red, and light blue across the upper, with a dark base anchoring the base of these collaboration creations. The insoles features the three-way branding, instead of the usual mita chain link fence graphics. An amazing three-way collaboration project indeed.

The shoe is now available at Juice KL with the price of RM429 a pair.

Converse Inc. launches the Fall 2014  Jack Purcell footwear collection which consists of Jack Purcell OX, Jack Purcell Mid, and the all-new Jack Purcell Cross Stitch. The Converse Jack Purcell Cross Stitch is covered in leather and features a waxed cotton cross-stich detail.The premium and quality leather materials and subtle stitching details in the sneaker collection are refined and built with all around comfort. It’s now available in Black, Twilight, Tobacco, Converse Charcoal and Bordo with the price of RM279.90 a pair.

Meanwhile, the Converse Jack Purcell OX features a brushed textile upper with a tight, water-resistant weave designed for winter wear.  The upper sits on a comfortable cork bed with the classic Jack Purcell blue bottoms and smile toecap. Additional premium detailing includes round died-to-match waxed laces and a molded cork foot bed.  The Converse Jack Purcell Ox is available in warm, fall colors of Wild Honey, Terrarosa and Old Silver for a suggested retail price of RM 239.90.

Last but not least, the Converse Jack Purcell Mid features an updated soft milled leather for fall. It also comes with waxed round laces, aluminum eyelets, and a molded cork foot bed along with the Jack Purcell classic blue bottom and smile details.  The shoe is available in Rusty, Black, and Admiral for a suggested retail price of RM 299.90.

#MIMSforhumanity – Time to Make a Stand

Quoting Martin Luther King, Jr., the ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people, but the silence over that by the good people. In hopes to convey this message and create public awareness about the issues facing our world, Sher ‘bflat’ Mohamed, the executive producer, decided to start #MIMSForHumanity.

For him, music is a medium that can reach out to public, if done in the right manner. Regardless of age, nationality, race and religion, this movement instills a sense of empathy in resistance to human suffrage.  This movement is a representative of a strictly non-profit and the proceeds will go towards supporting various human rights organisations.

Sher sought the help of producer, Farique Nadzir and lyricist cum composer, Adah Kahir to create this single. This single, Time to Make a Stand, is a collaboration between eight local artistes from Sanjay of AZUREFORJANNE, Blister, Fuad of Kyoto Protocol, Ashraf of Massacre Conspiracy, MuddMonkee, Roshan Jamrock of K-town Clan, Sayla of Dose Two and Shake N’ Bake.

Time to Make a Stand was recorded at Muse Studios with the creative direction was lead by Kulmo. The video is created by Tiny Rex Productions and the official photography iix by Faiz AR.

108 x HLV “Omnipresent” T-Shirt

The 108 Store in Melaka just recently released their latest collaboration t-shirt which was designed by a good friend of the store, Henry aka HLV, who is a talented graphic designer and also the bassist of Singaporean rock band, Caracal. The design is based off the numbers 108 and the omnipresence these numbers represent. The numbers appears all over Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, mathematics and even science. 108 stands for, one, nothing, and everything.

New Balance “LOOK OF THE DAY” Contest

The guys at Beautiful Machines put this Harley Davidson Sportster Nightster 1200 through some modifications that boast sleek, elegant and luxurious look while still maintaining it’s original mean and sporty essence.
