peanuts1Bringing back the nostalgic feels of the 80’s, Vans collaborated with Peanuts, one of the most influential comic strips in the history of comic strips, to produce a collection of prints for the Vans OGs.

The collection features two prints, one of which is the ‘Snoopy and the Gang’; with Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Sally and Peppermint Patty, and the other, ‘Camp Snoopy’; showcasing Snoopy’s alter ego, Joe Cool. ‘Snoopy and the Gang’ comes in blue turquoise and lavender aura for the OG Authentic LX and a turquoise, peach and black colourway for the OG Sk8-Hi LX. ‘Camp Snoopy’ on the other hand, comes in peaches and cream and classic white for the OG Authentic LX and classic white for the OG Sk8-Hi LX. The OG Authentic LX is selling for RM249 while the OG Sk8-Hi LX is RM329 per pair. The four OG Authentic LX is also available for kids for RM159 per pair. Available now in Sole What outlets.

Nike Air Max Lunar 90 Jacquard ‘Green’ Detailed Look

Bridging the old and the new for the Nike Air Max Lunar90 Jacquard, the pair features a classic Air Max 90 design with a combination of lightweight woven jacquard textile and synthetic upper and Lunarlon midsole construction. Forming a pinstripe detail, the pair is covered with a blend of grey, green and hints of black. A different shade of green is shown for the swoosh, eyelets and heel while the sole at the Air Max bubble area is finished of with a bright  volt. Check out the photos below for a closer look : –

Asics is definitely coming back! Asics just released a great new look for their Gel-Lytee III silhouette named ‘Honey Mustard’. The colourway of this pair is kinda similar with the classic Timberland boot. The shoe is covered in a rich tan suede material with accents in red and interior in brown, together with an off-white midsole. Last but not least, the striped laces add the final touch on it.

Li-Ning Way of Wade 2.0 “Leopard” Detailed Look

Although Dwyane Wade’s season has long ended, his Li-Ning signature shoe continues to release in new colourways. Another new one from Li-Ning, Li-Ning Way of Wade 2.0 “Leopard” is out now. We’ve seen the Way of Wade 2.0 in a few of graphic uppers and different materials, this time, the shoe features a leopard print upper in a bright red with hits of black and grey on the leopard print. The grey prints are actually in 3M reflective material. There’s also hits of yellow on the outsole, inner lining, and laces give the shoe a Miami Heat vibe. The white midsole, Li-Ning branding keeps this colourway balanced from being too loud. Click the photos below for a closer look : –

Alamak Co. – Fall/Holiday 2014 Collection

Playfully irreverent Malaysia hipster brand Alamak.Co starts the new month with a look at its 2014 Fall/Holiday collection. Sticking to the essence of the brand, this time round, the collection features a multitude of pop art-inspired graphics, funny aphorisms, and some navy/sailor based designs while still keeping it old school and local-based. For example, they did a rendition of the famous Andy Warhol Campbell soup pop art. Instead of the mushroom soup, they made a parody featuring a squid, one of the brand’s iconic identities. Ching It Out Hip Hop Charity Jam

Ching It Out is an organisation founded by MC Bee of ManHand. The purpose of this organisation is to promote the Chinese hip hop culture and to encourage individuality and people to create their own music. In hopes to educate the public and change their outlook on hip hop culture.There are a number of elements that sum up the hip hop culture. Those include B-Boy, MCing, DJing as well as graffiti. In this day and age, people have the wrong idea about what hip hop is. Hip hop isn’t about attractive girls in skimpy clothing or spending a ton of money or having insane parties.

All four elements of hip hop culture will be included during the event. For the DJing, DJ Coolen and DJ Orangez will be spinning. For the B-Boy section, dancers from Freshbeat Academy Dance Studio will be breaking a sweat. For those interested in street art, local graffiti artist, Cloakwork, will be having a live performance. Manhand, Mobeat and Double Call will be performing as well as sharing a bit about the hip hop culture in hopes to educate the public as well as change their misconception.NFK is a non-profit charity organisation that hosts fundraisers to care for patients suffering from kidney-related diseases. They will be having a petition for charity during the event.

The event is happening on the 17th of August 2014, 9AM at The Bank, Penang.

Nike Free Flyknit Chukka August 2014 Releases

Although the Nike Flyknit Chukka was born with the Nike Lunar as the sole, it was a matter of time before Nike would start experimenting with other options as the platform on the bottom. In 2014, Nike switched the Lunar sole with the Free sole and introduced it to the world. We would personally say that it is a more appropriate sole to compliment the flexibility of the Flyknit material used on the upper. Here in the latest release of the Nike Free Flyknit Chukka, we see the silhouette spotting a Wolf Grey/ Photo Blue and Tarp Green colorway.

The pair will be made available starting today at selected Nike retailers like JUICE KL.

Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘VARSITY RED’ Detailed Look

One of the latest Jordan’s Retro is this Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Varsity Red’. The colourway is a tribute to Spike Lee and his 40 Acres and a Mule production company. The shoe amplifies the Varsity Red and Classic Green accents from the original Jordan Spizike. If features a translucent outsole with a contrasting white midsole and decked out in an all Varsity Red upper and hints of Classic Green. The patterned lining is to pay the homage to the original colorway of the Spike Lee- inspired Jordan hybrid.

The shoe will be dropping on tomorrow ( 9/8/2014 ), at Hoops Station via balloting.

Nike KD 7 “Global Game” Detailed Look

Like most of its predecessors, the Nike KD 7 will have most of it’s colorways grounded around the personal and professional facet of Kevin Durant’s life. The four time NBA League top scorer and also named the most valuable player in the league has been given the opportunity to travel the world because of his love for the game of basketball. With that in mind, Kevin Durant will be dedicating this next release to exactly that. Dubbed the “Global Game”, the all-red colorway features a globe graphic on the tongue and a confetti-adorned Swoosh. Although Kevin Durant have just only announced his withdrawal from the USA squad for FIBA, this release might be a declaration of KD’s intention for world domination.
