RubberRutter – The Polka Duck Collection

Rubber Rutter is a clothing line that hails from Subang Jaya. The brand is the brainchild of brothers, Emir and Haziq who started the brand because they couldn’t afford the clothes that they like, so they decided to make their own. It was the smart thing to do, it was a logical thing to do, and it was the Asian thing to do.

For this collection, it is a polka duck fest, which features their duck logo, dotted all over the sweaters, tshirts, tanks, and pockets. This collection portrays the fun and friendly vibe of the brand as seen in their lookbook below.

Nike SB Eric Koston 2 Max Detailed Look

1

Here’s a newbie from the Nike SB Eric Koston – the Nike SB Eric Koston 2 Max draped in a vibrant monotone light crimson. Sticking to the same style as a couple of classic Nikes lately, the Koston 2 returns with a slightly updated construction.  This pair features a low-profile Air Max cushioning and deep flex grooves for an ultimate board feel. The no-sew construction and perforations on the side minimized irritation and at the same time, maximizes airflow for flexibility. To compliment all of the technological upgrades, this simplistic colorway uses a plain crimson upper, contrasted by base grey detailing and a speckled cement midsole.

Cop this pair at selected Nike retailers like HeavyWeight and Showroom.

Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” Detailed Look

We know that almost every pair in the “Retro” Air Jordan line up is special to any Air Jordan fan, but for die hard Michael Jordan fans, the AJ6 holds a special place in their hearts. Why? Because MJ’s first championship was won in an AJ6. Undoubtedly, MJ winning his first championship back in 1991 solidifies the fact that he is the best in the world, and being the best in the world translated into his shoes too.

3

The much sought after “Carmine” colorway was not brought out only until the following season, but it quickly became a big hit due to its colorway being very closely related to the Chicago Bull’s colorway. Previously the “Carmine” was last seen in 2008 which was part of the “Collezione Package” that was paired together with an AJ17 Retro. The 2014 version sees it sticking true to it’s original form, featuring a bold red and white leather upper with black accents and an icy blue translucent sole to finish the look off nicely.

Although we have not even reached the half way point in the year, but this pair is already set to be one of this year’s most anticipated release of 2014. The pair is said to be launched at various Nike retailers such as Nike @ KLCC and Nike @ Midvalley.  Hundred% in Lot10 will be doing a special launching of this shoe on Sunday, 25th May 2014.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Solar Red” Detailed Look

After many “leaked” images on the internet, and sleepless nights sourcing for a possible hook up for the highly anticipated Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Solar Red” or more commonly known as the “Yeezy”, the pair is finally coming to our shores!

1

There are some sneakerheads who are a little upset about the shoe suddenly being dubbed the “Yeezy” due to its colorway being pretty similar to the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Solar” model, saying that an association with the “Yeezy” suddenly hypes the shoe up which drives resellers to cop and incur rape prices making it harder for real foam collectors to cop. But with that being said, the shoe looks pretty damn similar to the Air Yeezys.

The Laser Crimson lining, snake pattern around the lace placket, and a glow in the dark outsole, the similarities are too….similar. Check out the detailed pictures below.

Luckily for all you sneakerheads looking to cop a pair of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Solar Red”, Hoops Station will be organizing a ballot for a total of 30 pairs. Sounds pretty fair and square. Head on over to their Facebook page HERE to check out the rules and how to qualify for the ballot which will be happening on the 24th of May 2014 3PM at their store in Lot10, KL.
