Devise – Limited Edition Leather Key Fob

Made limited to only 10 pieces, the Devise Limited Edition Leather Key Fob is crafted out of genuine black Malaysian artisan leather, heat stamped with ‘Devise’ logo. The leather is paired with a black military style hook coupled with a gunmetal key ring on the other end. The whole look of the key fob is very ‘Devise-ish’ being that it is all black.

The key fob was released on Depot by Devise which was only made available for online order 12am, 1st of March, and was sold out by Sunday. We are not sure whether Devise will be restocking any more of these key fobs, but you can add them up on their Facebook page and also follow them on Instagram ( @deviseclothing ) for more updates.

TheSpeakeasy Skate Co.

Over at TheSpeakeasy Skate Co. , they believe that a good product will always sell itself without having to shout about how good the product really is. Hence the brand’s name and also the motto, “Speak softly, Carry a big stick”. Founded by the guys of Wheel Love, the brand is also managed by them, and they have Faris Sarkhan on their roster as their sole rider for the brand.

Available as a complete setup (RM299) or just a deck (RM140), they want to provide beginners and the rest of the skating community with quality but yet affordable skateboards to skate in. The brand also provides trucks, wheels and all the hardware necessary to complete a full skateboard deck.

Adidas – “All Star” Crazy 1 Detailed Look

The Crazy 1 was first called “The Kobe” which was first debuted in 2000. Although Kobe Bryant is no longer in Adidas, the brand brought it back as the Crazy 1 and this time with some “All Star” treatment too. The sneaker spots a purple upper with some black paint splatter. Coupled with a pattern that is somewhere close to BHM colorway, the sneaker is finished off with some pretty funky designs on the laces too.

This pair is already available at selected Adidas Retail outlets and at Hip & Hoop @ E-Curve.

Ménage X Marcel Gadacz Release

The ‘Natives’ tee is a collaboration between Ménage and Marcel Gadacz, the frontman of the Australian band Dream on, Dreamer, who is a designer himself. The idea of ‘Natives’ comes from the usage of lines, arrows and crescent moons with the brand’s tagline, “Live, Love, Appreciate” above everything in the design itself. The idea of the badge was to blend our concept with Marcel’s concept; A family’s message with the ‘back-to-your-roots connection’.

Converse AEROJAM “Home” Detailed Look

Get ready for a blast to the past with the new Converse AEROJAM “Home” colorway. Made popular by Larry Johnson’s “Grandmama” marketing campaign back in the 90s. The AEROJAM is said to be one of the brand’s most iconic basketball sneaker which features bold silhouette and a distinct look that is very hard to miss. The AEROJAM “Home” is a nostalgic trip back to the 90s when the Charlotte Hornets was perceived by many to be the team of the future, not just because of the players on the roster, but also because of the team’s futuristic colorways.

Oversized tongues, removable and a reversible lace shrouds, complex color blocking make it a unique model that was very coveted back in the day. Taking most of the color code from the Charlotte Hornets, the shoe is accented with teal and purple on a white base which is finished off nicely with some classic looking perforations.

This pair will be launching this coming Saturday ( 1st March 2014 ) at JUICE KL.

Huf X Wu-Tang Brand 20th Anniversary Collection

Huf have teamed up with Wu-Tang Brand on an exclusive collaboration celebrating the 20th anniversary of Wu-Tang Clan’s debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers. This limited capsule collection includes a pair of HR-1 shoes, a football jersey, metal H strapback hat, and jaquarded socks with custom packaging. The mesh football jersey features both Huf and Wu-Tang signature icon with the number ’36’ and ‘Protect Ya Neck’. Meanwhile, the sneaker is in black with gold details including the ‘W’ logo on the heel and a gold speckled midsole. Last but not least, an all over print strapback with gold metal H and two pairs of Plantlife socks complete this range. 

This collection will be available at Juice KL this saturday, 1st of March.

NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Stan Smith Detailed Look

By now, it is pretty clear to most of you that 2014 might be shaping up to be the year of the Stan Smith as adidas is charging full force with guns blazing. Fresh off the drop for the Mastermind X Stan Smith which was last week, this week we will be getting the NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Stan Smith. The collaborative partnership between both brands date back almost a decade, and in honor of the classic silhouette’s 50th anniversary, they have requested NEIGHBORHOOD to rework it.

Shinsuke Takizawa of NEIGHBORHOOD gave the shoe an elegant dark brown premium leather upper, with some unorthodox branding on the toecaps, heel and tongue to finish it off in style. The shoe drops this coming Saturday ( 1st March 2014 ) at JUICE KL.

Wood & Steel

Wood & Steel is a combination of both a cafe and a furniture store. The cafe is started by 2 young studs, Ierfan and Adam, who are brothers aged 22 & 20 respectively. From what we’ve been told, everything you see in the cafe is for sale, and besides that, everything you see in the cafe is not bought ready made, instead custom made. They even supply furniture to other cafes like Feeka, Artisan, Podgy and the Banker, and a few others.

The cafe gives out cozy vibes and the staff is very chilled out and friendly. One of our personal highlights for our visit there was when we tried the chocolate brownie, personally baked by the Ierfan and Adam’s mum. Highly recommended by us! Most of the furniture at the shop and cafe was designed by Ierfan, and Adam conceptualize most of the theme of the cafe. Adam is also a consultant for cafes, where he gives advices and direction on starting cafes.

Together, this tag-team combination between the 2 brothers have created something very unique and refreshing, especially when there is so many cafes popping up all around the Klang Valley and also in Malaysia. Be sure to follow them on Instagram ( @woodandsteel ) for more updates.

Nike Air Force 1 Low CMFT “Penny Hardaway”

The Nike Air Force 1 Low CMFT “Penny Hardaway” has many components derived from the Nike Penny Air Max 1 and Nike Air Foamposite One. The Air Force 1 features a Foamposite and nubuck upper, with jeweled Swoosh and Penny symbol on the heel tab. The Varsity Royal blue lining and accents keep the colorway alive, as well as a White midsole and icy translucent outsole. The signature Penny symbol and his famous quote “Ballin’ is what I was born to do.” also can be seen on the sock liner. 

The shoe is priced at RM549, and it’s available now at selected Nike and retail stores nationwide.
