Pro Skater Matt Miller, who is well known for his technical wizardry and massive pop is launching his first, and well deserved, signature shoe model with DC Shoes. The shoe sees its upper being mostly covered by DC Shoes’ own “Super Suede”, which boast the material lasting 50% longer than other suede materials. Other features of the shoe is the breathable mesh at the sides, a comfy and thick sockliner and a 3M heel tab. The overall look and shape of the shoe boast a simple, minimal and sharp look that is suitable not just for skating, but for everyday wear too. Have a closer look at the shoe below.

In various interviews, the founder of the brand, Yung Shen had revealed that the idea for the brand all started by him scribbling a hand-written graffiti tag of the word “LANSI” on his trucker cap just because he thought it looked too plain. And that was way back in 2007 when he was still rapping under the alias of “Schizzow”. The brand officially made its début in 2009 with a collection of colourful fitted caps. Fast forward 5 years later, the brand would like to celebrate their 5th year anniversary by going back and paying tribute to how it all started by doing a throwback to the original handwritten cap that started it all.

Cheese Denim – 4th Anniversary Jeans “SF-414”

To celebrate their 4th year anniversary, Cheese Denim, one of Malaysia’s leading local denim label released a pair of special edition denim dubbed the “SF-414”. The numbers “414” means the 4th year anniversary of the label which falls on the year of 2014. The leather patch featured on the jeans is a normal oblong  shaped patch, which to a lot of you who own a pair of jeans will think that it is normal, but to a Cheese Denim enthusiast, this is a very rare occurrence, because the label has never used an oblong leather patch before up until now. The pair of jeans is made out of 17.25oz sanforized Kaihara selvedge denim and comes in a slim straight cutting. Other features of the jeans include Laurel Leaf donut buttons, hidden rivets on the back pockets, and copper washer burr rivets.

Nike Air Max 90 Ice “Halloween” Detailed Look

Nike Sportswear delivers another Halloween-inspired sneaker, Nike Air Max 90 “Halloween” to go along with the Air Max 95 “Halloween”. Drawing it’s inspiration from the Halloween pumpkin, the shoe features an earth-like tones upper, which employs textured suede throughout the toebox and collar. Besides, the shoes nubuck overlays, eyestay and Swoosh come in a burnt orange tones, and the ice outsole, with concealed orange coloring completed the shoes.

Kirstie Maximus – Rockabye x

At the tender age of 2, Kirstie already knew who Michael Jackson was, and that is how much he has influenced Kirstie as an entertainer. Ever since Kirstie could speak, read and write, she already had begun writing her own compositions, using everything she had, from pencils right up to simple basic software. At the age of 20, when Kirstie graduated from Lim Kok Wing University with a Diploma in Sound and Music Technology, Kirstie applied for various scholarships and jobs related to the music industry. She then took part in a Hip Hop Composition Competition organized by ICOM College, and won 2nd runner up. From then on Kirstie has been performing in various gigs and is currently signed under a local record label known as ‘The Movemint’. Kirstie is now a graduate from Premier DJ Academy, one of the finest DJ academy in the region. Now at the age of 24, she is seen spinning at some of the top bars and clubs in Malaysia.

Nike Air Max 95 “Halloween” Detailed Look

With Halloween right around the corner, Nike presents the Air Max 95 “Halloween”. Nike keep things fresh without using the usual expected holiday colourways like the Christmas – “red and green”, or the Halloween “Pumpkin Orange”. The shoe features a mysterious tonal grey aided by a beige canvas base which is similar to a bandage wrapping a ghastly grey monster. A glow in the dark outsole matched a Mint heel and lace loops, while a bloodshot eye patch on the tongue completes the whole look.

Raising The Dead

Raising The Bar presents their first ever Halloween-themed show called ‘Raising The Dead’. On this 2nd of November (Sunday), the 12 artists are going to pay homage to some of the Hip Hop’s big names like Aaliyah, Eazy-E, The Notorious B.I.G and much more. The one who dressed in most creative Halloween outfit will be entitled for free admission and chance to win a pair of shoes courtesy of ShowroomKL. Besides, Smirnoff Ice will be having a makeup booth on-site to give you a horrifying makeover. As usual the event will be held at LustKL and the door opens at 7PM.
