With Pharrell Williams coming on board with two other big names in the fashion industry, Kanye West and Nigo, Adidas has stepped up the plate in the sneaker world. It’s safe to say that these three working with Adidas are gonna change the game.

The three stripes giant have been taking sneakers to the next level with collabs with Jeremy Scott, Raf Simons, Mark McNairy and Rick Owens. They’ve played with big names in high fashion, this time, they’re trying their hand at influencers in terms of street wear, music and fashion. Fans all over the globe have been anticipating the outcomes of the collabs.

This pack features the multi-talented entertainer’s all-time favourite Stan Smith in full red, black and blue colour ways. The shoes sport a leather upper as well as outsole, a beefed up tongue tag, three stripes on the heel and clever insole graphics.

The pack will be dropping this Saturday, 20th of September, at JUICE KL, for the price of RM699.

Here’s latest collaboration effort between Nike SB and Los Angeles skate shop Brooklyn Projects, Nike Dunk High Premium SB ‘Brooklyn Projects’. Being named as “Paparazzi”, the shoe is inspired by the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. It features a series of reflective flash bulb graphics on the side panels and toebox to represent camera flashes, and black suede upper that looks like the camera bodies. Meanwhile, the red collar lining represents red velvet ropes that separate celebrity from paparazzi.

The shoe is now available at selected Nike SB retailers nationwide like Showroom for RM429 a pop.

This quote deems true, especially in Malaysia. Yes, some may disagree, but we’re talking about the masses here. Graffiti is a form of art but most consider it a crime, a form of vandalism, or just plain wrongdoings of hoodlums. Only a smidgeon appreciates the spirit of these cheeky artists. The rest doesn’t even give a damn about art.

‘Gift and Curse‘

NESTWO explains that this quote means that there is always bad in something good. No matter how gifted you are, there’s a long journey of struggles you have to brave in order to reach your destination. Simply put, being gifted is also a curse.

Remember a few months back when Justin Chew showcased his FW14 collection (The Evolvement) inspired by the 90’s hip hop movement during KLFW? He collaborated with local graffiti artist, NESTWO aka Edmund, to produce some of his pieces. This time round, the two are back with this typographic sweater for those who support this form of art. The back of this sweater has the quote ‘Art is not a crime, the crime is your state of mind’ while the sleeves have the quote ‘Gift and Curse’.

The two invited some of the biggest names in the fashion industry to give support for their collaboration. Jane Chuck aka Chuckei, Evangeline and Cherrie of Duo Gigs, TTFGA; photographer, PR expert; Jiman, Ethan Chu of Streething and even our very own editor, Bryan ‘Botak’ Chin. Graffiti artists, Kenji Chai and Cloak and graphic artists, Ana Senthil and Raeesa were present in this cause as well.

Priced at RM169, the sweater is available on this 27th September. Be sure to attend the launching at Thisappear as well as LLL+ at 12pm!

Just as this Johor based brand’s name portrays, their clothing are made not just for anyone but specifically for those with rebellious blood running through their veins. This time round, the campaign is entitled “Worldwide Bullshit Inc’. The two shirts are called ‘Devil Ain’t A Lie’ and ‘WorldWide Bullshit’. Rude as they are, they stand for something righteous. Similar to a one-way mirror, people are not who they seem to be. They could be full of bullshit. So this campaign says it all.

The Johorean brand Native Instructions have abandoned all linguistic rules for their latest collection “RUDER THAN YOU”. For your information, in case you’re wondering, the word “RUDER” does not exist, but the brand thought it sounded cool and went ahead with it anyway because Native Instructions is a brand that never exist to abide nor to please. The collection is a prime example of how the brand really is, rebellious, different, and most of all cool.

The brand explains in their lookbook that although rudeness can seem pretty harsh, annoying and just out right inconsiderate, rudeness is a form of true honesty and one of the most sincerest form of expression of how a person feels, and nothing beats sincerity. Check out the full lookbook below:-

Shy of a month back, Tarik Jean’s produced a ‘Jordan’ parody tee (they made a silhouette of a mamak pouring ‘teh tarik’ that looks like the infamous Air Jordan logo). Little did we know that that tee was merely a teaser for their latest release. The ‘Tarik Gold Strike’ pack consists of that design but in different colour combinations (and one of it has the AJ elephant print!). Size? X Puma “Wilderness Pack” Part 2 Disc Blaze Detailed Look

Here is a sequel to the Wilderness Pack by UK’s heavy hitting sneaker store Size? and Puma. The Disc Blaze spots a predominantly white outlook that is complimented by a barmy brown and a matching fern green Disc cage system. The heavy waxed white canvas upper features some battle scar designs which signifies going toe-to-toe with the wilderness, while the brown speckles and green cage representing trampled branches and tree barks on the forest floors. The 3M tongue pull and Puma branding on the tongue finishes the look off neatly.
