Iconic brands, Stussy and Converse have joined forces once again to add another collaborative collection to their list of collaborations together. This time they offer us 3 custom renditions of the classic Chuck Taylor All Star Hi’s which comes in red, black and purple. All featuring a premium crocodile patterned leather that is coupled with the “double S” and “No. 4” Stussy logo on the tongue. Unlike other CONVERSE Chuck Taylor All Star however, this particular collection includes a special insole for additional comfort.

The pair is already available at Juice KL and Stussy KL.

Nike X Stussy Trainerendor Low ACG SB “Blueprint”

Stussy has teamed up once again with Nike to release a new pair of collaborative shoe. Usually when two strong brands collaborate, the synergy will definitely create something unique, as we have witnessed with their previous collaborations. The Nike Trainerendor might not be a common model amongst sneakerheads, but it is a pair of shoe that performs and provide you with everything you need out of a shoe. With the added innovation taken from the likes of the snowboarding and skateboarding industry, it is then engineered to transcend different styles for different occasions, hence the ACG tag ( All Condition Gear ).

It is a rugged but lightweight shoe which features a Phylon midsole, VELCRO forefoot straps and sticky rubber outsoles that provide mad comfort which help you stand your ground. The black woven mesh base , 3M reflective heel accents, purple-blue gradient galaxy-like splatter print on the swoosh is something you don’t see often on the other shoes.

The shoe is already available at the Stussy KL Chapter store and Showroom, priced at RM379.

Nike Air Max Lunar90 C3.0 Black/Anthracite/Volt Detailed Look

The Nike Air Max 90 is said to be the most famous model on the Air Max line and the new Nike Air Max Lunar90 has updated the classic silhouette with the new shoe technology – Lunarlon. The technology applied on the shoe makes it more comfortable to wear, highly breathable and promises better movement. The Nike Air Max Lunar90 is not a sneaker that will be just focused on reintroduced classic Air Max colorways. This pair has proved it all with the new colorway which is solid black and anthracite base along with the sporty volt look. The little bit of red and neon green colour on the sneaker makes the pair look even greater.

The shoe is already available at most Nike Outlets and Retailers nationwide with the price of RM499.

Promoting the same principles as their previous lookbook in delivery 1, Pestle and Mortar wants us all to go out and spend time with your friends and family before the holidays are over. Best take their advice since Chinese New Year is just around the corner and use the opportunity to rack up some good amount of ‘Ang Paus’ because you won’t be getting any if you just sit at home.

DJ Clark Kent x Nike SB Dunk Low “112″ Detailed Look

To pay homage to his home, Brooklyn, DJ Clark Kent came up with “112” collection back in 2008. The meaning behind the numbers “112” is actually the area code of Brooklyn, New York where he grew up. Fast forward to this year, DJ Clark Kent continues to pay homage to his hometown with the DJ Clark Kent x Nike SB Dunk Low “112″.

The pair spots the signatory grey leather / elephant print combination that is matched with the ‘Volt’ color at the bottom and on the laces. The forefront and midfoot area of the shoe where the grey leather sits is entirely 3M reflective. The tongue and the swoosh is outfitted with premium black suede to finish the shoe of in luxury.

The shoe is retailing at RM399 and is already available at SHOWROOM.

Nike Air Max Lunar90 “Infrared” Detailed Look

Since it’s emergence in 1987, the Nike Air Max has garnered a huge cult following among sneakerheads and athletes alike. The way the bubble sits in between the sole that reveals a visible air heel coupled with it’s sharp looks, is what makes the shoe such an un-explainable timeless classic. This time Nike breathes new life to the classic AM90 with a significant upgrade to the whole shoe. Lunarlon midsole that is coupled with the latest Nike cushioning technology for extra comfort and a mesh upper that offers more breathability while still being lightweight. Even the outsoles has been upgraded to a waffle-patterned rubber for more traction.

The shoe is priced at RM499 and is now available at most Nike Outlets and Retailers nationwide.

RECAP: Reebok Classic Party

The party was inspired by the classic look and feel of the 90’s neon days. Bright and loud colors, UV lights, classic 90’s hits as the background music and brand ambassadors dressed up like Will Smith in Fresh Prince of Bel Air, is pretty much how we would sum up the party in a nut shell.

But the event was more than just a throwback themed party, the event was a signal of what to expect from the brand in year 2014. A comeback of the classics silhouettes, like the “Kamikaze” and the “Pump Fury”, both of which are classic favorites even until today. The party also featured a preview of the upcoming Pump Fury releases for 2014, which marks the 25th anniversary since the creation of this iconic shoe. A special collaboration between DJ Xu, Joe Chia and Reebok was also launched at the party which features a t-shirt and an all black classic varsity jacket.

Expect a whole lot from Reebok this year as there big things lined up from them, in the meantime check out the pictures of the party courtesy of Reebok Malaysia’s Facebook Page.

RECAP: StussyKL X RTB Showcase Heems (Das Racist)

Last Sunday, in collaboration with StussyKL, Raising The Bar showcased Heems that hailed all the way from NYC. A brand new year has just started and it’s definitely a step up for “Raising The Bar” to have an American rapper to perform on their first event of 2014. The event started at 8.30pm, but the crowd slowly came in around 9.30 (as always, Malaysian timing), and by 10pm the front of the stage is already packed.

DJ VMPRMYTH, Mushroom Buttons, AbeatC, Tactmatic, DoseTwo, DwenyDwen & Pradana are all the opening acts for that night, their sets were amazing. And of course, Heems turned up the night with his “American Rap Music” together with his funny jokes. Oh and not forgetting his imaginary guitar too. Good vibes in the air, everybody was bangin’ with the music, and after the set, everyone just hanged around the venue chatting with each, taking pictures with Heems, oh and shout out to that girl who made everyone, including Heems himself, do a survey for her university assignment.
