Heroin Kills Hell Fellas – “Fuck You All” 2013 Campaign

 It may be a little over the top and somewhat vulgar to name your campaign “FUCK YOU ALL”, but there is a perfectly good reason and explanation to it. The campaign is about taking charge of your own instinct. Many people will try and control your life by telling you what to do, “you’re doing it wrong”, “do it this way”, “don’t do it” or even telling you “this is the way”. So this campaign is Heroin Kills Hell Fellas‘ way of telling this people, “FUCK YOU ALL”.

“It’s because of all the people supporting us that we can produce such bad ass products. We don’t care about following trends, we just make stuff that we like, so FUCK YOU ALL!” – HKHF

The collection includes the limited edition monogram script t-shirt which is exclusive to only 10 pieces and the “Nasty Sons” sweat pants / shorts. The Biggest Malaysian Independent Clothing Festival

Rumored to be the BIGGEST independent clothing festival to date, Tempatan Fest 3.0 is just TEN days away. But the funny thing about most rumors is that it normally has a lot of truth in it. Well, when there are gonna be 118 local brands in one spot, who would dare to argue? There will also be 25 bands performing on that day which includes some pretty “OTAI” names in the line up like Flop Poppy, Sub Culture and Kugiran D’ Tepi Pantai.

The festival is seen to be really living up to it’s name of being “tempatan”, by fusing our many different local scenes together into one spot. Be sure to mark your calendar for the 5th and 6th of October if you wanna get a taste of local-ness. A follow up from both brand’s first collaboration back in 2010, the latest partnership between this two streetwear giants celebrates BAPE’s 20th anniversary and also Stussy’s reign as one of the longest and strongest serving name in the streetwear industry.

The first launched of this capsule collection is the G-Shock and matching T-shirt to go with it almost 6 months back. As for the Stussy X BAPE Fall / Winter 2013 “Ill Collaboration” launch, 90’s Desert Camouflage and Stussy & BAPE iconic logos are the staple diet of this collection where it is seen used on most of the pieces from the collection.

The video above is directed by A$AP Mob co-founder and resident fashion expert A$AP Bari, where it features fellow A$AP Mob member A$AP Ty, the self-proclaimed “King Of Youth” Ian Connor and rapper Fredo Santana reppin’ a handful of items in the collection tearing up the streets of New York in quad bikes.

A new release by The Kliker. The release is only 1 tshirt, but it is a t-shirt with a lot of meaning behind it. From what we’ve been told by the owner of the brand, Eyma, the release of this tee and the idea behind it is to encourage our local streetwear industry to believe in what we do, and to do it with passion. By doing so, people’s general perception of the local streetwear scene will change, hence the title of the collection “Change Their Perspective, Strengthen Our Rights”.

Seducers & Sinners

Ever heard the saying, “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”? Well for this brand, we would advice you not to judge a brand by the name. In all honesty, the brand’s name does sound pretty interesting. ‘Seducers & Sinners’ hails from Kuala Lumpur and is about our daily life and the sinful habits of us humans, be it good or bad. Although relatively new, the brand has started drawing some attention to themselves because of their name, but with that that said, the brand has a very good message behind it.

“Hate The Sins, Love The Sinners” – is the brand’s tagline, and it definitely pushes the cause of the brand.

The Deciders – Fall 2013 Delivery One

While most of us are busy with shoes and sneakers on Sunday last week, The Deciders released their Fall 2013 Delivery One Collection at The Deciders Store at Berjaya Times Square. The collection consist of three t-shirts and two 5 panel-caps. Our personal favorite for this delivery would be the ‘Eagle’ 5 panel-cap, which has nice cool shining gold stars on the prints that gives a nice classy touch to the cap. The cap is made out of Japanese-made printed cotton.

That Sh*t CRAY

If you’ve heard the song “N*ggas In Paris” in JayZ and Kanye’s collaboration album, “Watch The Throne”, you have probably heard the phrase “That Sh*t Cray” many times in the song, which made the ‘CRAY’ word a pretty well used word in peoples conversations for the next few months after the song dropped. While there isn’t a real word ‘CRAY’ in the English dictionary, the word is actually a short form slang for the word ‘Crazy’.

After we have established some foundation on the word ‘Cray’, let’s move on to this new brand called, Cray. The brand recently launched it’s first line of products yesterday at Kicks On, which consist of a t-shirt, oversized singlets and a collaborative cap between the brand and Chinese rap group, ManHand. SSCG – F/W 13 Studio Campaign Lookbook

In this latest studio shoot, we see the brand SSCG continuing their direction from their previous shoot which you can view here. They have managed to keep the feel, look and vibe and we are definitely liking what we see. This new campaign is to promote their new line called “Black Edition” which focuses on plain black tops spotting big “Super Sunday” fonts. The collection includes t-shirts, crew necks, raglans, shirts and some camo releases.

The “Black Edition” is already available at The Super Sunday Store, which is at the Bukit Bintang Monorail station.

Monarchii x SBTG x Pras Nike Dunk High To Be Won At Kicks On

The grand prize for tomorrow’s lucky draw at Malaysia’s largest sneaker convention, Kicks On will be the Monarchii x SBTG x Pras x Nike Dunk High that has a retail tag of RM1200. To anyone that wants to get a chance to win this sweet pair of shoes, all you have to do is show up at the event to stand a chance. If you want to get more ballot papers to increase your chances of winning the shoe, you can also purchase the official Kicks On t-shirt. Each t-shirt purchased will get you an extra ballot paper.

CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 SP “Kiss Of Death” Detailed Look

Partly inspired the 2006 version of the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss Of Death”, which was Nike’s first collaboration with CLOT, the 2013 variant features a more modern look with the Nike Hyperfuse design to reduce the weight of the shoe and an open mesh upper, in reference to the previous version’s transparent TPU vamp.

At first glance, many would think that this pair is a pretty plain and boring one. But on the contrary, this shoe is full of minor small details that makes us sneakerheads go insane over. For example, the sockliner features a 12-meridian graphic as a nod to Chinese medicine and the sneakers sport the character “Shen” as a reference to Shanghai which is coupled with a pair of embroidered wreath with the emblem from CLOT. To add more flavor to the concept, Nike added graphics of “two feet” on the footwear’s icy translucent outsoles.

This cool and slick light grey pair will be dropping today at JUICE KL, and from what we heard, there is already a pretty long queue outside the store. So if you’re planning to get a pair, either call in some favors or prepare to pay top dollar for this pair.
