Nike Air Max 90 Premium Tape “Camo”

Nike’s Air Max line has always remained a favorite among sneakerheads the world over and especially the Air Max 90. Ever since 1990, the shoe’s shape has not been fiddled or tempered with for more than 2 decades, but the material used on the shoe has seen many variations. Bringing back the Premium Tape series back in the 90’s, this new tape series utilizes the Hyperfuse construction coupled with black suede overlays and has a sealed toecap. The “tape” covers most of the would-be seams on the shoe.

The Nike Air Max 90 Premium Tape “Camo” is from a newly released “Camo Pack” that consist of the Nike AM95 Tape, Nike Air Classic BW Tape and of course the AM90. There are still no news on the availability of the AM95 and BW from the pack, but we hope it hits Malaysian shores soon. If not there is always Ebay.

The Nike Air Max 90 Premium Tape “Camo” is already available at selected Nike stores and retailers nationwide.

Nike Air Max 1 PRM Tape “Petra Brown Camo”

The usage of the Hyperfuse material and selection of camouflage colorways has been steadily growing over the recent months. With the release of the AM90 Premium Tape “Camo Pack”, this release would very much be a welcomed pair. For this release, the Air Max 1 has been given a modernized makeover with a Hyperfuse upper instead of the usual mesh, which makes the shoe pretty lightweight. The print on the shoe is the same print as seen on the Nike Roshe Run GPX that was recently released in the States called “Petra Brown Camo” that is accompanied by some black suede accents that runs along the shoe. The shoe sits atop a white sole and is finished off with a red “Nike Air” logo at the heel.

The shoe is already available at selected Nike & retailers nationwide.

A new clothing label has sprouted out of Kuantan, Pahang. Established in early 2013, the founder Yused, who used to own a clothing label called Positive Feedback back in 2009, decided to change the direction of his label. So he then shut down Positive Feedback and started a new label which is Plant Clothing.

Here are pictures of their first release, which is a collaboration with another local clothing label called “Seas May Divide” called “To The Next Level”. Plant Clothing will be releasing their 2nd line of clothing somewhere in late August or early September. Not long from now. So be on the look out for it. Till then, enjoy the images of their first release.

Nike RosheRun GPX “Mercury Grey”

rosherungpx1

Just awhile back we had the pleasure of some safari-themed Roshes hitting local retailers shelves, and with a price tag of only RM199, those were gone almost instantly. The latest hottie from Roshe-town is a tiger-camo themed Roshe called “Mercury Grey”.

Donning a Black / Sail / Mercury Grey colorway which features a tiger camo-like graphic on the ripstop nylon upper which is accompanied by dotted laces that gives that outdoor feeling to the shoe. All the features sits atop a simple Phylon sole.

As we mentioned earlier, a price tag of only RM199, and with looks like this, it is almost sinful not to get it. A picture paints a thousand words, so here is a few pictures of the shoes for your enjoyment. The pair is already on sale at selected retailers. You don’t want to sleep on this.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

CNLM is back with more ‘Middle Finger’ attitude with their latest “Kill Em All” snapback. The brand has always carried a rebellious personality (Pretty obvious when your brand is inspired by the middle finger), and it’s a brand that is about trusting yourself, your instincts  and just do whatever you feel is right. From what we’ve been told, the idea behind their latest offerings is exactly that. “Kill Em All” is about believing in what you do and sticking to it, eventually outlasting or killing your competition or your challenge.

From what we see, we think this release is a big middle finger to all the shooting that’s been happening in our country lately. A big cnlm to that!

As always, CNLM produces very limited quantity of their products, 20 caps to be exact, and are very much focused on quality and detailing. Puff embroidery CNLM wording infront printed on Yupoong plain caps.

Air Jordan III “Fire Red”

aj3firered1

The first pair of eyes that ever laid sight on a pair of Air Jordan III was back in 1988. Nike released 4 pairs of AJ3s back in ’88 which are still very sought after by any Jordan-head till this day. One of that four is being retro-ed and was release last weekend on the 3rd of August 2013. Selected Nike outlets released the pair last week Saturday and was instantly sold out.

The AJ3 “Fire Red” is arguably one of the best constructed pair in the Jordan line and not many would argue. The pair has mostly brushed white leather on the upper which is coupled with fire red eyelets. The famous elephant print is impressed on smooth black suede on the toe box and heel. More fire red accents seen on the Midsole, Jumpman logos, tongue and ankle area. The pair is finished off with the OG Compulsory Air unit.

From what we heard, the pair is slated to be released within this 2 days at selected retailers like Hoops Station and Hundred%. Didn’t manage to get a pair over the weekend? Then it’s time for a last ditch effort to hustle before Hari Raya.

That ‘Sheed’ Hot

Moses Malone may be the OG behind the Nike Air Force 1s, but Rasheed Wallace was definitely the one who schooled the new kids on how OLD is definitely GOLD, by playing in AF1s almost every single game of his entire career in the NBA, and owning in them.

Although he may be hanging up his AF1s for something more ‘business’ like as he moves in a his role as the assistant coach of the Detroit Pistons, Nike has reworked its iconic Air Force 1 basketball sneaker to pay homage to Rasheed “Sheed” Wallace one last time as a player. The Nike Air Force 1 CMFT is the newly designed performance version of the historical icon, upgraded with drop-in Lunarlon foam insoles for maximum lightweight and flexible cushioning. Oh yeah, did we mention that this 2 pairs are QSs? Coming in the colors of his former team, the New York Knicks, the shoes feature a blazing crimson upper set against blue and white accents, topped off with a custom “Sheed” lace lock and a silhouette of the man himself on the shoe’s side panel. The same is offered in the flipped version, now with blue upper and crimson accents.

Both pairs are available at selected retailers nationwide, so if you’re drooling, might wanna wipe off that drool and check with your nearest retailers.

Kronoz Shop Official Launching

Over the weekend we saw a few events happening all across Kuala Lumpur. One of those events would be the opening of Kronoz Shop in Parkamaya, 3rd floor of Fahrenheit 88. They first started out as an online store at the end of last year, and quickly garnered a huge following. They now have a little over 18,000 fans on Facebook, which is a pretty big feat for an online shop that started out about 8 months back.

They house a few of the most popular and sought after denim brands in the world, such as Naked & Famous, Momotaro, Japan Blue and a few of our locally produced denim companies like Cheese Denim and Ceremony Fine Wear. Another brand that they carry is a pretty interesting brand. Northern Denim Co. is designed in Finland, made in Japan, and sold mostly in Malaysia and it’s neighboring region, or wherever there is an order for it around the world. The person behind the brand is a Finnish expat living in Malaysia that started this denim label as a means of charity. All profits from the sales of the jeans goes to the Japan Tsunami Victims.

So if any of you are looking for a new denim joint, or not sure what raw denim is about, head on over to Kronoz shop to get a quick tour and for some denimucation.
