Elizabeth Tan “Tabah” Lyric Video
Local favourite youtube cover sensation, artist and actresses Elizabeth Tan are back with her new lyric video titled “Tabah“. This time around, with black and white concept video it set it focus more on to the lyrics and also on the expression making the video even more interesting.
“I guess the only thing worth mentioning is that the whole concept is black and white so that the focus would be on the lyrics and my expression. Also if you’d notice the shadow behind me on the wall is bigger than me , to show the whole idea of being stronger than beforeIt’s almost like another persona coming out from me”. Said Elizabeth.
“This song can be interpreted in a few ways, either as a break up song or a song for the haters. I initially wrote it as a break up or moving on song, but we decided that there were too many cliché songs like that, and that we should make it a little more deep. This is the first single that I’m actually involved in, lyrically, musically, and also creatively so I’m hoping the best for this song and that it can go far”. Said Elizabeth.
Meanwhile, she will be collaborating with Supercrew for a line of clothes called “Stronger Than Before” to go with this song, it will be launched on the 4th of June (this Saturday).

Dae Kim and rapper Yang Ariff are a great musical complement to one another, with the latter’s clear and pronounced rap style blending well with the heavy beats churned out by Dae.

Golden Mammoth present “Metaphoric Quadraphonic” Album!
If you’re into sound that’s undergone psychedelic treatment like the music Tame Impala churns out, this local band should definitely be on your radar. Golden Mammoth is a Putrajaya-based psychedelic rock band that was one of the finalists of The Wknd Sessions Recording Fund. Now, the band has recently released a full-length album called “Metaphoric Quadraphonic“ that’s recorded and written by multi-instrumentalist Syabil Alyahya.
The album consists of 12 songs and you’re bound to come across one or even more that you’d enjoy as you journey along their tracks. The album is steeped in psychedelic rock elements as there are plenty of whirring guitars that resemble a form of hypnosis as the guitar solos goes on, and vocals that are processed to a similar effect, fuzzed out and reverberating on their own tone.
Allow yourself a listen and enjoy their “Metaphoric Quadraphonic” album below:
